So Novak isn't playing in Basel or Vienna? If Andy wins Vienna that would put him only 415 points behind in the Race rankings. I know (now, thanks to Game) that there's an additional 275 points from the Davis Cup, so Andy would still be 690 points behind Novak, but that's still within spitting distance of catching him.

Of course Andy has to win Vienna first. But the point is, the #1 is within his power. If he wins the last three tournaments, or simply does significantly better than Novak, he'll be the year-end #1.

It's come down to the YEC before; just a couple years ago when Roger was still playing well! I didn't expect Nole to get off his normal schedule due to pressure to hold #1 ranking! He will let it all hang out in London and add to his record unless he's totally given up! :cover :nono

Novak's having wimmin trouble, far as I know. Worst kind of trouble to ever afflict a man! :popcorn

I wouldn't be surprised if he calls it a year soon - before he's ordered to by the missus!

Haha, true.

Seriously though, I'd be very surprised if he called it a year before the WTF. Even Paris would be a stretch as he'll want to defend some of his points.

On the other hand, if the drive has gone out then it will be hard to muster the energy...

Djoke and his wife are both losing weight from the problems they are undergoing. If he did have an affair, I am disappointed in him although not surprised.

I thought he looked more spindly than normal! I just initially thought he was going too far with the fitness and diet; must be something other than that if both are showing signs! :nono :cover :eyepop

I'm not gossiping Carol. I'm pointed out the hypocrisy (nothing new in that) between your two statements: 1)First you said you don't like to gossip; and then 2)You speculate on Novak looking anorexic. I guess you are bored since your guy is out till next year, and are trying to keep busy by sniping at his competitors. (Nothing new in that either!)

1) Because I'm not hypocrite (the opposite of you) I'm saying what I see, Novak is too skinny and I'm not the only one saying that, even the ones which have seen him in person (some of them fans of him) and not just through a picture they say that he looks almost anorexic. This not any speculation, it's the reality
2) You are the one to look very bored because your guy is not playing for so long and the only thing you know to do is to take everything that I say out of proportion which it's not too smart of you. You should try to make an interesting comment at least once and awhile

1)I'd love for you to cite an example of me being a hypocrite. Good luck with that.
2)Not sure who "my guy" is. Unlike you, I am not a sycophant blindly in love with one player; I am a fan of MANY players including Roger, Novak, Del Potro, Stan (when he's not in his head case mode), Zverev, Thiem, to name a few.

One more time you are showing your s%^&$#4ty. I'm Rafa's fan but also Muzz and others like Zverev, Thiem and now someone else who is playing excellent named Carreno and who will give to the tennis followers a lot to talk soon. I'm talking many times about them though I'm still waiting to see them (the youngest ones) to win a MS.....and by the way I've never read a comment of you talking about those that you say you like them, only about Federer and Novak so I don't understand why you are calling me names (lol) when if you look the mirror you will see the sycophant blindly in love with one player, and YES, ONLY one player, come on, to who are you kidding? not to me

Once again I am showing my what???? And where is an example of the hypocrisy you said that I exhibited? Still waiting to hear it. Then you said that you only hear me talking about Federer and Novak , and therefore I am blindly in love with ONE player. By my count that's at least TWO players, although I reject your premise to begin with as I enjoy and have posted about many players. And please DO NOT go back and change your "ONLY ONE PLAYER" to "ONLY TWO PLAYERS" as you did recently when I pointed out that Novak was only 29, and you went back and edited your post citing his age, and then told me I read your original post incorrectly. Several others on the board pointed out your edit.
