Fed's last few games were abysmal earlier with the usual failure to take break points and simple errors and needing tons of match points to win.

That will cost him eventually! It's happening more and more these days! You can't keep giving guys those extra opportunities and survive for long!

Yeah, just saying 6-1 6-1 6-3 may look good on paper and he did from what I saw of the first 2 sets but he looked pretty crap in set 3.

It's definitely not a patch on the speed of Halle or Newport even in the first week with the fresher grass and even Queens is faster. Centre court also seems the slowest.

I sure will He's a better player on grass than Klizan btw. That was some fugly tennis out there today save for a few points from each. Rosol hits way flatter, serves way bigger and none of the stupid looping moonballs right in Nadal's hit zone that Klizan hit.

They should stick him on one of the outside courts Tbh all the others play faster. Same as Chatrier and Lenglen and we have Verdasco's testament to that after the Murray match. He said the speed difference in both is nuts. He compared the Lenglen court more to hard court speed.
