Wow this thread is just another Nadal hate one, no wonder Kieran stays away during the grand slams, what a shame.

Or some people just don't like a certain someone who plays tennis. There is a difference, no?

But then why watch him, there are plenty of other matches going on, or you could do something else. Why watch a guy that you hate?

Who said I was watching him, I'm just following the score at work. Got a little excited to see another triple layered cupcake give another early scare.

Yeah, I'm moving on to another match. Bouchard v Hantuchova, because I could see Hantuchova pulling off that upset. And they've got the young Taylor Townsend out on show court 17. So I may watch a bit of that too. Can't wait for Serena up next after this.

Despite my love for Fed, I guess I'm glad to see Rafa come through. Then again, I don't really want to see him add points and extend he lead in the race for #1. Though, I don't think Djokovic is going to win this anyways so he wouldn't take the #1 anyways. Plus now we'll get the Rafa v Rosol rematch. In which I'm sure Nadal will pummel Rosol as much as possible to make a point and exact his revenge.

^ Doubt he is capable of pummeling Rosol on this stuff. He will win I'm sure but might look similar to today or tougher.

Well Darth may not have been watching him, but to answer your question, I imagine some people started watching it simply to see if Klizan could play well enough to beat him. I'm not a Rafa hater (anymore), though I'm not a fan. But I think that would be one reason a hater would watch.

Well at least Errani lost in the first round so I'm happy. Klizan needs to start doping 'cos he looked wrecked after one set!

Not a Rafa fan but don't hate him. Love watching him play. Whatever people say.

Fed's last few games were abysmal earlier with the usual failure to take break points and simple errors and needing tons of match points to win.

That will cost him eventually! It's happening more and more these days! You can't keep giving guys those extra opportunities and survive for long!

Yeah, probably didn't help. He came in as a lucky loser too I believe so I guess he played a few qualifiers.
