Wozy is just a backboard counterpuncher at best..All you have to do is wait for your opening to hit your winners against her.,Someone like Keys is the type of player that Wozy can be, someone who beats themselves.,if you are a player like Ostapenko, you can drive the bus over her all day.. Maybe you think you are funny when you keep calling Muguruza that ugly name but you are insulting a Basque beautiful first name Garbiñe (I'm sure you don't know anything about the Basque Country, the great culture and language) and also insulting me because I'm Basque too.

I am so ignorant that I don't know anything about Basque Country or Culture (will try to look up after USO though). So, I cannot possibly try to insult the Basque culture / country.

Nicknames are like that you can plan all you want, but sometimes some name gets stuck ( think "fruit loops" from Big Bang Theory if you watch it). There is not much logic to it. There is no intention here to insult Muguruthless (hope that is not offensive to Basques either) either whose aggressive game and boldness I like.

Because #of slams won by Meldopova is more than million times the sum of the # of slams won by Coco and Riske. Just because both are americans does not mean they should be put in Ashe automatically. They should either be independently famous like Vee or should play a famous player.

I have to write this comment from Caroline because I think she's right. I know how fond you are of Maria but I'm only a "bit" against the hype she gets from the organizers - they are doing a really Trump job here and they mistreated Halep too but that's another story - well here is her comment to the Danish paper Ekstra Bladet (or maybe only part of it):

Caro: Putting out the schedule where number 5 (was later changed to 17 but the damage was done) in the world play on court 5, fifth match on after 11:00, I think it's unacceptable and when you look at the centre court, I understand completely business side of things and everything, but someone who comes from a drug ban and all of sudden gets to play every match on centre court, I think it's questionable thing to do, I think it doesn't send a good example. I think a player who has been fighting back from injury and who is number five in the world deserve to play on a bigger court than a court 5. There are ways to show respect for players, rankings and players who have done well in the past.

Wonder if she plays in US Open again (my prediction)

Woz will play USO if healthy. Why give up her chance to win a slam on her best surface? I do agree with her complaints, but USO is the rogue slam. Giving a WC to the cheater shows it is only interested in money. FO and Wimby took the high road. USO is crass.

I don't agree that Woz has no weapons. Her fitness and mental toughness are her weapons, and she has a great BH.
