Oh, stop.
Frances has won 5 set matches before? and no I dont make mens legs weak btw :) I really thought after the 3rd set the match was his
It's hot in NY and he got tired plus took too many points off in the 4 set. Taylor was vulnerable but Frances didn't play smart enough before he got gassed. Poor Tiafoe was just two games away.

As I said I thought Frances had the match in his grasp, and he has won 5 set matches before, sad to say he made too many ufe towards the latter part of the match

He was out of energy plus he said he was a bit jaded in the 5rh set. I think the McEnroe Bros mentioned it and they showed him telling his box his body was quite right. Regardless, Fritz got it done. Big advantage to Sinner, he ain't got no woman there to weaken his legs

Yes Sinner has his on and off GF who has been in his box the last couple of times, she is a tennis player herself :)

Everyone I talk with that has any connection with tennis or sports in general is saying the same thing: Sinner shouldn't be playing right now.

There is a bitter feel to all of this. The guy is probably going to win the USO and it doesn't sit well with many.
It’s a travesty.

He’s got something else not to weaken.

BTW Taylor Fritz will return to the ATP Top 10 after the USO
# 6 if he wins the title
# 7 if he losses the final
Fritz will be Top 5 in the Race to Turin as well.

Well, his fitness cost him again. Who knows maybe too much "happy time " Ali said, no women during training camps and pre fight. Women make your legs weak! I can't think of anything else why he ran out of gas
Only your third leg :face-with-tears-of-joy: Although they make it strong before they make it weak. :face-with-hand-over-mouth:

Fritz has gotten better but I don't know if he can out hit Sinner from the baseline
That is my concern too. Sinner was not that dominant against Draper, but when it mattered he wasn't missing.

If it means something, Fritz is looking fit and won lots of longer rallies against Tiafoe. That should give him some confidence too. I'm not expecting a beatdown, but Sinner is a clear favorite. Fritz at the current level of play and carried by the crowd should win a set IMO and make it a competitive final. If the atmosphere gets Davis Cup like, anything is possible. Hope he handles the nerves. He is not a rookie, but he is a first time in a slam final.

I won't even watch it on principle 'cos the result is clear. I'm done with tennis for the foreseeable future unless Fritz miraculously wins but he won't. Doubtful he even wins a set.
Agreed 100 percent. I like Sinner and I am happy for Fritz. I am gonna sit this one out unless the other Taylor (Swift) shows up!

He literally gave away that 4th set. He was looking fine physically, at 5:4 in the 4th he had 40:15, makes 2 DFs and 2 UEs.
Didn't watch it but that sounds a brutal dose of acute Federeritis. Losing from 40-15 with 2 match points is something all Federer fans know all too well.

It wasn't MPs. He was serving down 5:4, but played well until that moment.
