If they played 20 sets today, Fritz would win close to 0, maybe 1 or 2 sets.

Nope. I have principles.
No you don't. You've never met a whiff of doping you didn't wrap both arms around, no matter what...unless it was Roger.

Jannik is now 55-5 on the year, a 91.7 Win%. In the Open Era, there have only been 24 player seasons over 90%, or 25 if you round Andy's 2016 up (89.7%). Here's how the 25 break down:

5 Ivan Lendl
4 Jimmy Connors, Bjorn Borg, Roger Federer
3 Novak Djokovic
2 Rafael Nadal
1 Guillermo Vilas, John McEnroe, Andy Murray, Jannik Sinner?

There are many people condemning Halep still who turned a blind eye to Sinner. Double standards.

I missed it because I thought the match was at 4 pm ET. I had no idea they moved it earlier. A bad move by ESPN. They lost out on so many customers due to football and the DirecTV blackout.

I will take this to the doping thread so admins don't have to move it. You can respond, or not. (I know it's late where you are. I'll wait.)

well done Jannik Sinner. In just less than a year, he's led his country Italy to Davis Cup win, won the Australian and now the U.S. Open IN STYLE. Bad luck to young american Taylor. He's got loads of potential to his game for sure.

They usually have that 1st NFL game lead-in @ 4 PM, EDT., but maybe they thought the final was big enough to draw earlier viewers with Fritz! :slap:
They never announced a time change. I just assumed it started at 4, so I was shocked to see the match was just about over.

I loved when CBS moved the final to Monday in its final years to not conflict with football. I really hate ESPN for moving it back to Sunday, and now messing with the traditional 4 pm starting time to interfere with early afternoon games.

Vince,

If AP is around , he is a big American football follower he would know the answer why they started the USO earlier, ( unless he is away working) Moxie or Kskate would know as well

El Dude,

Just finished listening to Gil Gross podcast, final thoughts on the USO, as usual Gil's match analysis was 'on the money'
