No messing around for Jack Draper today as he races past Machac 63 61 62 to advance to the QFs!
This is Jacks maiden QF at a GS
Jack first British man to reach the USO QF since Andy Murray in 2016
BTW Jack is now #23 in ATP live ranking
Jack is yet to drop a set at the USO
Will play either de Minaur or Thompson in the QF

Meddy hands a bagel to Borges in the 1st set
Meddy leading Borges 2 sets to love 60 61
This is just a practice session for Meddy 60 61 63 over Borges
JMac said at one stage Borges legs 'have gone'' he did play a 5 setter against Mensik in his previous match

What the hell is going on with the mens matches today
De Minaur handed Thompson a bagel in the 1st set? de Minaur must have visited the same bakery as Medvedev earlier

de Minaur defeated Thompson 6-0, 3-6, 6-3, 7-5. This ensures the streak of seeded players winning slams on the men's side will continue. Gaston Gaudio remains the last unseeded player to win a men's slam, doing so at the 2004 French Open.

TP w/ two first names is also an eternal choker. Dude had a 2 break lead and chances to go up in the TB and he stuffed them all.

If he couldn't take advantage of a 2 break lead, he's not winning this match.

My Italian was just getting his 'beany legs' warmed up when he was fell behind:) Jannik's TB record at present is second to none :)
Won 14 of his last 15 TBs

I haven't watched all of the matches today, (men or women,) but most of it has been pretty boring. Very disappointing.

This side of the draw w/o Charles In Charge is a bit dull. I mean Bean is cool, but usually quite businesslike. The remainder of these players today is like watching paint dry.
