He has the break unless Frances goes AWOL he will win this in 4 sets, Pop has had a let down, Frances has done well to get to the QFs though at this stage of is career, and on present form he wont win a GS title not at the USO in 2024 anyway

Frances needs to show up at other tournaments not just the Amercian HC season and be more of a all surface player, Witt has been good for him as his new coach

Bad luck Pop the curse of taking down a top seed strikes again you had your chances and could not convert them and let them slip away eg the 2nd set which you should have closed out
You have done well winning Montreal and getting to the 4rh round at the USO, HC has always been your better surface
