Good on you Moxie. Well done to you and also to Britbox on the second quiz. You know your music. The next one will be a quiz and a theme attached to it. See you next weekend then.

Looking forward to it. Hopefully we can rope some more folks in. Meantime, I will just think of my 10-year-old surfer dude who picked me out to dance at a California campground party. *sigh*

Good on you britbox. Good to see this Jon English song (one of his best) available on YouTube. His 'Essential Collection' 2 CD has re-entered the charts at #23. Man, I cannot believe Jon was unable to breakthru in the US or UK market.

Rodderick with Kim Carnes live at the LA Forum December 19 1981. Interestingly this has been edited out on the 'Tonight Hes Yours' home video.

This one. Must've been lifted from a DVD as it's much improved audio than my VHS copy. 'Tonight's the Night' still missing however (this was performed between 'Tear me up' and 'Passion').

^ Atrocity did a cover of The Sound Of Silence too.

Incidentally quite different than the rest of the album but it's one of their lightest albums really. Below is another song from the same album :p -|-\m/-|-

Good on you britbox. Just found this Beatles tribute by none other than Harry Nilsson. I've only just started finding and playing his pre-70's tracks. But this is cleverly done with parts of other Beatles songs featured as well. I'm sure you'll like this one -

Rod's 'Absolutely Live' double album is on YT. Enjoy. LOL a cassette tape that runs 75 mins on one side. Too funny.

Living Legend, Fats Domino - a Rock n Roll music pioneer - his version of 'Lady Madonna' is quite delightful -

Living legend indeed. Fats is the man. My old man had a bunch of his stuff... didn't know he collaborated with the Beatles. Thanks for the post.

Good on you mate. Did you have a look at thebeatlesbible and keith flynn elvis pages website links i posted here last week ? Just found some unusual Bee Gees tracks singing the Beatles songs (must've been lifted from a boot). "Ticket to Ride" is the best.

Guess this must've been 1964 from the "Bandstand" TV show. Great to find rare and odd stuff like this -

I would almost swear that was the Beatles singing, not the Bee Gees... even down to the Scouse twang. Great cover.
