Seeing as we're pretty deep in the Euro Championships and the Copa America, it's time to revisit some of the classic football songs that churned out as a precursor to major tournaments.

One such tune is the "World in Motion" track sung by the England squad - a collaboration between the team, the band known as "New Order" and a couple of Fast show extras such as Keith Allen (Lily Allen's Dad).

Even though the whole squad were contracted to appear, only five turned up for the recording. John Barnes stealing the show.

A far cry from the 82 World Cup song when they were all in on the act.

My old mate @Federberg must remember this old ditty - Spurs cup final tunes featuring Chas n Dave,.

This song was just added to the Library of Congress Collection. Beautiful, and timeless, IMO.

I figured this one was timeless, and timely, again:

The sister on the left reminds me of Michelle Branch from twenty years ago.

Led Zeppelin - "When the Levee Breaks" - If it was made in 1940!!

The original song was recorded in the 1920s (Memphis Minnie), Zeppelin did it in the 70s, and now it's being AI time-warped back to the 40s! :face-with-tears-of-joy:

I actually love this, saw it on a Dylan Facebook page. I know it’s AI but dammit, play it for Lassie and that dog ways his fecking tail!
Yes some of those AI converted to other genre of music are interesting to hear. I liked that you can now hear the lyrics clearer on those Zeppelin converted to 1940's style Jazz:face-with-tears-of-joy:
