I was going to try to dig out the track, but I'll take the answer. (I love Led Zeppelin, but it's hard to know every cut, and even harder to remember the titles, as they often don't relate. OK, that one did.) No one can answer #5, so you better just tell us. Then do another one, but as I said before, try to make it a bit easier.
Good on you Moxie, yeah awesome group. Interestingly just as one iconic band ended their career - The Beatles rooftop concert (Let it Be movie) in January 1969 another iconic four piece band arrived the same month with their 'Led Zeppelin' album and debut 45 'Good Times, Bad Times'.
BTW... I did say in my first post, if members know the artist and/or the song title. It's good if you know both but also it's OK if you don't know the tune.
OK this was the #5. Australia's legendary band Cold Chisel. They were Rock n Roll all the way. But 'Rising Sun Stole My Girl Away' had a distinctive rockabilly beat. Hope you like the song -
Ah Bless You Moxie.
I had a feelin' you would like that song. The Chisel were active between the years 1973 -1984 but had never cracked the all-important US market. OK new quiz is in the works for next weekend. The fragments will feature famous tunes and be edited to about 6 seconds long each and maybe 1-2 tracks that were only ever album tracks (such as the Creedence 'Pagan Baby' and Jacko 'Burn this Disco Out'). How does that sound ?
It sounds challenging. I will say I forgot that it was ok to guess one thing: title or artist, not both. Will that still be the rule? I used to play this game with an old boyfriend, in the car, with the radio: first one to to say one correct thing about the song got the point. It was a fun game.

The Elvis one I do on another forum is even more challenging (14 tracks nearly edited to 1 second each) but they're very observant over there and got it right LOL.
Comes to think of it, Skyhooks were another Aussie band who never cracked the US market.
They had a quirky (but always fun) image and catchy song titles (Women in Uniform was probably their best record).
This was the band's comeback single - Jukebox in Siberia. Hey Moxie I think you'll like this one -
Not to my knowledge but I stand corrected. Only the Bee Gees, ACDC, Little River Band, Air Supply and going back some decades, The Seekers have made any kind of impression among Aussie groups.
