Good editing work here. A shorter alternate take on "Promised Land". Last few years 8mm / amateur fan film footage has been surfacing on youtube. In retrospect it would have been just awesome had Elvis waxed more Chuck Berry songs like this, but back then he loved the big ballads of "The impossible dream" "You Gave me a Mountain" and of course, "An American Trilogy".

If you're talking about Elvis's love songs you just shouldn't forget a song which I prefer the Willie Nelson version of. The song I'm talking about is obviously "Always on my mind".

Happy Birthday Dame Shirley !

My Nan (grandmother to Americans) was fairly friendly with the Bassey Family (Cardiff born and bred). Shirley's brother Henry came to my Nan's 50th wedding anniversary in the 90s. He was so tanked up on booze, he got his foot stuck in a drainpipe and a few of us spent about 30 minutes trying to pull him free.

I know nothing about Coldplay, but this is very good. Sounds a bit like U2.
I also noticed a style similar to U2 but I always look for something original in every artist. This one is a more interesting clip just just musically and poetically (one of my favourites by CP) but also technically: Chris must have learned how to pronounce (or basically form his lips) "backwards", for the good part of the lyrics. Lip reading person probably would be more critical about the outcome, but nonetheless the video came out mostly as intended. An impressive effort.

That is impressive! He really did learn how to sing backwards. Thanks for sharing it.

some friends of mine combined to upscale and restore -one worked on the video, the other worked on the audio. Well done guys! Definitely looks sharper now. Enjoy !

ELVIS- Four songs from the June 27th,1968 8PM show,1080P resolution, and in enhanced sound. This is the almost the same as the older one I put up, but it IS higher resolution. All the songs are from the 8PM sit down show. Songs from the 6PM sit down show are not allowed up, they always get blocked. I made the sound more spacious and re-worked the sound from the 50th Anniversary cd, then synced it with the video. My friend Lucio upscaled it to 1080 by 1920P. A standard dvd is 480 by 720P. I hope this looks very good on everyone's cell phone and computer. Only a few songs are allowed up because of copyright issues. The songs are listed below. There is a bit more video in this one than the old one. This file I am uploading is just over 2 gigs in size. The songs are as follows.
01.Heartbreak Hotel 02.Baby,What You Want Me To Do? 03.Blue Suede Shoes 04.One Night...

What is it? All I see is that the video isn’t available in the US.
Seriously? You can't watch that video in the US? I know Genesis released a different video for the US... the original is kind of a skit on Reagan - or should I say the hypocrisy of Reagan.
