Yes.... and no !

The music is identical but the italian tittle and it's lyrics are different words to what the "Half-Heaven, Half-Heartaches" was.

The italian title "Ritorna" means Return. My italian isn't the best but i'm sure MOX can vouch for the translations.

Cue - Moxie ;-):
Ha! I noticed the music was the same & the words for "1/2 heaven, 1/2 heart-ache" were coming to me. The only Italian I know is:-

Buonjiorno!

Un caffe latte e una pizza margerita per favore.

Grazie.

Ciao!

Haha! They often say great minds think alike. Lol. I only like Margerita, Pollo funghi & farmhouse (ham & mushroom) pizzas though.

Note: I put per favour in my example above because autocorrect changed it from per favore. I've now corrected it. Damn autocorrect!

Anyway to bring the subject back onto music, I'm sharing a song that mentions pizzas.

Me & Horsa sorted out our little emotional bump, and I changed my mind and now I think I can positively contribute to this thread.
So does anyone like acapella ensembles? They are like small choirs but not only they sing traditional SATB (plus occasionally couple more diverse voices) arrangements, but also add beat-boxing (i.e. pseudo-instrumental accompaniment) to their performances. The best example of such in US is Pentatonix. These guys are phenomenal in particular Kevin. Everyone has likely heard of them.
Has anyone herd of such ensemble in Australia? The most famous one is The Idea Of North. I know these guys very well, because they are the teachers in my choir. They sing all sort of stuff, from medieval Gregorian chants up to modern jazz. Kai (their BBoxing guy) is incredible. He thought us how to do it. I did not realise how much trickery we are able to perform with our voice in front of a mike to achieve interesting effects. Here is their interpretation of a beautiful song by Tim Minchin (a famous contemporary OZ composer/singer). Very sentimental song, that makes most emotionally engaged to cry. Enjoy.

A quizz for those who don't know: who is the musical leader of the group? Or let's put it this way: forget about the pictures (that can create bias) but say which voice (SATB or BBox) sounds like a "leading voice" in this recording? Then you can lookup who said voice belongs to and if s/he is indeed the formal leader of the group.

We did indeed talk things through like the civilised human beings that we are & sorted out our little disagreement which I'm glad about. I'm glad you changed your mind & decided to share your music & musical knowledge here & have fun.

I like them sometimes. I hadn't heard of them but I enjoyed listening to them. Thank you very much for sharing. I liked the ladies & the man at the end best & think that was a good song with good backing vocals.

I'll hazard a guess that the man at the end was the lead vocal though the 1st lady sounds like a lead singer too.

I was surprised how well Kai (BBox guy) performed his B part but, no. The alto (Naomi) is the leader. She hides herself very well among the others, which also mean that the others are doing excellent job. Naomi has perfect pitch and the others usually tune to her. I can hear couple of bumps in male parts (won't say anymore as I should withhold unnecessary critique) but Naomi's part is pure perfect. And sop (Emma) is also perfect in her part. I can also assure you that there is not a trace of auto-tuning in this recording, because I know these guys very well and they sound here vs. life on stage 100% identical (within the perception of my ear at least).

I only like the last male singer to be honest as I don't really like rap so the other 2 male singers aren't singing properly in my opinion. Everyone has different opinions though.
