Roland Garros has banned alcohol in the stands after a series of incidents that led to complaints from David Goffin ( he was spat on by a fan) and Iga Swiatek.
Tournament director Amelie Mauresmo says the most experienced chair umpires will be assigned to the most potentially volatile matches and the umpires have been instructed to crack down on bad behavior and that fans will be ejected from the stadium.
"We wil be intransigent about respecting the players game" she said.

So they cancelled all matches for today on outside courts? It must be really bad weather in Paris. How many matches in total are they behind the schedule?

(MUCH) Better quality from Djokovic today. He must have been playing to Herbert’s level in their match. Maybe Ferrer coaching his opponent has inspired him.

Djokovic's win means that we are now a Alex De Minaur win over Jaume Munar away from Rafa qualifying for singles in the Olympics without having to make any special accomodations. Munar is the 4th ranked Spaniard and 59th in the live rankings, which means a loss keeps him out of the Top 56 (and with it, the automatic qualifying spot), allowing Rafa to qualify as the 4th Spaniard (after Alcaraz, ADF, and Pedro Martinez) with one of the Legacy gold medalist / Grand Slam champion spots (with the other going to Andy Murray).

There’s no quit in Cobolli. These past 12 months he has matured and it is great to see him able to compete with the best players.
Agree, he has played a good match against Rune coming back after being down 2 sets to love

Tiebreak in the fifth. 10-7 Rune. Lots of errors from Cobolli. Some fantastic defense from Rune. Holger came back from being down 0-5 in the tiebreaker. Stand up play.
