Summary of Kyrgios 2 matches today in Queens :lulz2:

Kyrgios playing remind me to one of my neighbors, both are so unprofessional and original that sometimes can take the opponent by surprise :fishing:

I like Mahut as a tennis player. But, I don't like his "celebrations" with his son.
Aw, that seems awfully cynical, don't ya think? And that was at the FO...I didn't see him here.

Andy/Feli making a very good result playing against those doubles specialists. That can give Andy a very good motivation!

He is another potential asshole..he is just young but his attitude is not the best or proper ..if you or cosigner GSM fancy him then so be it
I didn't see the match today, but I find this surprising. I've seen Tsitsipas to be generally hard-working and mentally tough. What has he done to make you say he's a "potential asshole?"

Are you sure this is an uninterested version of Nick. I don't think so. He did not even tank a set. First two went to TB and the last one was won by FAA with a score line of 7-5. While I did not watch the match, it looks like a hard fought match.

Buddy, Kyrgios gave up the last game Check the video posted by Carol.

There is no dearth of drama when Kyrgios is involved. You are right, he was goofing off in that game.
He was doing the tweener almost every other point in the match (base on the video by DanFabio). Also, why would he say that FAA has good chance (in support of a member of audience saying so) so early in the match. Is he doing match fixing?

In the earlier match he got into fight and got code violation also.

Here is an article about both incidents.

Google some of his comments, he is the pure ricipocol of FAA..That kid has a lot of class and respect for not only for the game of tennis but admiration for the current top players who will be regarded as the best three who ever played the game , IMO.

What does "ricipocol" mean?

Anyhow, asshole and head-case aren't the same thing. There are plenty of assholes who aren't head-cases, and the reverse. And then there are some who are both. Even if Tsitsipas is an asshole, he doesn't seem a head-case. In fact, part of his promise is his mentality and ability to fight through and stay in a match.

As for Kyrgios, I don't buy the disinterest. Usually when someone goes so out of their way to make sure everyone thinks they don't care, it is usually a defense mechanism. Giving up when you're over-matched or about to lose is rather telling of this sort of mentality.

FAA could play three matches today, one singles and two doubles. He signed up for doubles with D-minor. Due to rain, he has not even begun his doubles campaign and so they are behind compared to the rest of the field and so this situation.

He probably cared to win this one, next one was Tsitsipas on the centre court and he would've liked to be there. It is just that he is showing effort in his own strange way and I wonder how that effort fits the fact that he again didn't create a single BP opportunity.

When he was 2 points away from losing and elected to use a very low percentage shot instead of a routine groundstroke for me it could mean only 2 things:
Either he is dumb as mud or he did not want to win.
There are no other choices.

Felix takes the first set against Stefanos.
I am rooting for an all Canadian SF.
