I have a feeling that Raonic is scared of Auger Aliassime...he is avoiding him by all means necessary.

i just tuned out of pushon v medvedev..a just saw a 45 shot rally on grass. yikes.

think i will tune in again when small colin is on.

I saw last few games. They should introduce some kind of penalty for both players if the grounds strokes are so slow point after point.

I left at 4-1 in the 2nd, thinking I'd make it back for the 3rd. Things do happen fast on grass. I hope Feli wins the title then.

ha..i thought maybe i was seeing things in slo-mo..they were hitting underpaced balls in rallies then. thought so.

still, hope lopez can crush the dream of gilles pushon after fending off faa/small colin today.

lopez v small colin was way more interesting, feli was burning faa with some class net play/ pick up half volleys etc..

felix around 10th in race to london rank charts..could be 1st teen since prob hewitt in 2000 to play wtf (nadal withdrew in 2005).

Couldn't watch the match, but I checked scores after the first set and tought FAA is in charge, but I see he lost. From what you write looks like Lopez found his A game on grass which he always favoured. 8/8 BPs saved, that's impressive. Now he pulled off a 3rd win today with AM in doubles, what a dream run. Will root for him tomorrow.

Feli besides to have a brilliant day winning two doubles and one single very well played he has spent all day in the court so he probably will sleep well tonight and I hope tomorrow can lift at least one Trophy but two would be even better :drums:

Two things I heard today on the TV about Lopez. 1.) That he got a WC into the main draw of Wimbledon, and 2.) that he's planning to play Eastbourne next week. I can only hope he'll re-think Eastbourne, after the week he's had.

I'm sure the fact that he's playing doubs w/ Muzz had a large influence on their decision to give Deliciano a WC

He is playing doubles with Deliciano here. But, in Wimbledon Sir Andy shall play with Herbert.

I know that. My point is his run w/ Andy this week influenced their decision to give him one.

I doubt that. Deliciano is generally well known as a good grass player. He got a WC into Queens based on his previous performances at Queens and he has proved himself by reaching the finals in a tough field which was considered wide open at the beginning. To boot, he has reached the doubles finals as well.

More than playing with Andy being a factor, Judy might have pulled some ropes for Deliciano if at all some extraneous thing is involved.

I agree with you, and not @kskate2. Feliciano gets a WC into main draw of W on his own merits. Certainly not just being a show pony buffing up Andy.
