Tignor makes his picks for Miami . Jinxes Thiem in the process.
Glad he did not jump on the bandwagon and jinx Fed.

That SOB purposely made these picks to ensure another Federer championship..

He definitely doesn't make picks in hopes of Fed winning. Tignor is a self-admitted Rafa nut. I don't think his picks this tournament are that out there aside from Goffin winning his section. I like McFly but he isn't coming out of that quarter. I also don't see Thiem beating Roger or DP.

Goffin looks more like Ewan Mcgregor before the Obi Wan Knobi beard...u know his picks are ludicrous

Actually, while not a notable personality, Goffin is very steady player and is very consistent. With Miami courts being slow, it is conceivable he may come out of that quarter as the winner. Nick's Serve might not be as dangerous in Miami. Zverev's game also may not be very effective on slow court. I am assuming here that Stan loses out early.

Stan is such an anomaly. Even when he's not in Stanimal mode, he can go deep (aka IW, USO, AO)

The world is never enough. Roger is making up for lost time and lost opportunities.
The world of tennis is an unforgiving one. Roger should sweep as much as he can while he can. Opportunities are presented and at this time and this year he's doing just that. I kind of like it that most experts are not picking him to win this. Same as IW but for different reasons. Not sure what will happen here but if I were betting on this tournament I'd take him. I also don't think that Fed expended as much energy at IW and I think he's ready to fight hard for the title here. My guess as others seem to indicate that he will definitely curtail or limit his clay court season so why not put as much into Miami as he can...

We'll see. If he gets by DP, and I expect he will, he shouldn't have too much trouble making the semis at the very least. He truly did breeze by IW and I think that factored into his decision to play here, that and having almost a full week before his first match.

Rafa will face Dudi Sela in his first match.

Fed might face Fracis Tiafoe in his first match.

Funny. It moves faster on the court than several players. Also, it gets on to the score board which some players never manage to do. :)
