Hey chill. I thought it was crap due to the slow court. Not a fond of slow hard courts you see. That doesn't make the tournament crap though. Its a pretty awesome tournament. Just wrote that post out of impulse without being neutral. Never mind. I withdraw what I have said.

But, certainly Roger isn't old or arrogant alright? Roger has proved to be timeless. He is the youngest 35 year old you will see. He is proving his relevancy on the tour. So why do you make comments like this? What do you think makes someone fit to be called old? I don't think you have even got your definitons right.

No. Its just personal preference. I like to see quick points and good shot making, aggressive tennis. Maybe you like something else. Move on.

Well, and I'm not surprised with your and his comment being both a Federer junkies, so what's your point? mine is that I like all kind of surfaces

I only said that a tournament is crap. Not a player or style of play. And I did withdraw my comment. And Miami Open suits Rafa. You should be in a good frame of mind, I would think. What do you think of the draw?

It's not really possible to have all of that on slow courts. Mostly they favour defensive players which is what you seem to prefer and that's fine. On faster courts aggressive shot making results in winners but not on slow courts 'cos they can just be run down time after time. Many of us find that boring as it's more about running than tennis.

Wow, Taylor Fritz was up a double break in the 3rd set serving for the match at 5-2 and ended up losing it in a tiebreak. That one will sting.

Two Americans out there simultaneously choking. Fritz served for the match against Kohls and then lost it in a 3rd set breaker. McHale served for the match twice against Mugu and lost the 2nd set breaker. :cover

To be fair Front, you won't have success on any court, and you will never hit winners, if you hit like a bit€h.
Now the dynamic does change a lot with higher/lower bounces and faster/slower courts but talents like big 5 or big whatever number it is these days, they will always succeed, no matter the court speed and bounce height.
