I am never a fan of talking down players, using terms mediocre, limited talent and etc which show a lack of respect for those who are actually one in a million level of talent.....a top 30 player is more than that, as there are definitely more than 30 million people who play the sport. Instead of talking low of Kohli, one should praise Nadal for how amazing he is always there fighting until the last point, even though he's been through so much and isn't in great form.
Not always, not always he is fighting until the last point

DYJR continues to win..but as always no love from this board..

The Donald usually plays well at the US based tourneys. He doesn't fair so well on the road. That being said, he's a little like the boy who cried wolf. He'll make a little run here or there and then drop off the planet for the rest of the season. I think people are a little tired of his false starts. And to address another point of contention, it was talked about heavily at the time when he beat Muzz, but then he didn't really do much after that so it was another false start.

not sure that delpotro slicing and net rushing fed on a slow hc is the best tactic.

I've been impressed with the DP backhand, it's held its own. He's come over it more than I've seen in a long time. Fed is playing damn well aside from his serve, keeping DP off balance. The big man hasn't been able to wind up the forehand too often.

So what? Just few weeks ago Thiem lost to Pierre-Hugues Herbert.

Yes, but he's won a lot in the past twelve months and is a challenge for anyone. I thought Dominic played less than his usual in his loss to Borna the other day, but Coric was stellar all match long. He took it to Thiem and deserved the victory. I was seated right behind the baseline and you could feel the energy from Borna, whereas Dominic seemed flat from the get go.
