Berdych has a lot of pressure on him..He may play inspired tennis or fold like a cheap suit from a goodwill store.
Yep, now he and loudmouth are going through the third set, hope he wins
It doesn't matter if Rafa and Roger are the "doubles dream" for everyone, I think they won't have an easy match, Sock and Querrey have very good records in doubles, we'll see :boxing:

Roger and Rafa's back are in good shape which is evident by the I formation. Typically Its a great way for doubles players to loosen up and stay on their toes early in the match plus they can see where Jack & Sam are returning serve. Very smart of them to Keep the big forehands on the wings but typically in USA we like to keep the Lefty forehand on the deuce side to have both forehands up the middle.

Nay,, way too much talent on the other side of the net and both players will expose the lack of mobility and avg backhands of Jack and Sam, IMO

Everything about this event has been elegantly done. The graphics, the cup itself. All of the men in gray suits and white shirts, when not in team kit. The black court. And I think it's terrific that it honors The Rocket. At the risk of sentimentality, I feel like I understand now why Roger would have promoted this event. His career has been lined up against Pete's, and his contemporary rival, Rafa's, but it has eventually also been measured up against history, and that has basically meant Rod Laver. We all realize that, at some point, comparisons are futile, across the generations. But no one has felt the comparison more keenly, perhaps, than Roger. I think it's beautiful that he's found a way to honor Laver, especially while Laver is still around and actively participating in the sport.

The Fedal doubles was a lot of fun. It was sometimes clear that they'd never played doubles together. They won the first set and the 3rd TB on pure quality, but Querrey/Sock won the 2nd by better organization. And Rafa is the better dubs player of the two. Also today, I thought Kyrgios gutting out a win over Berdych was good for him. Not sure what's on for tomorrow.

The first team to reach 13 wins. So, there will be a minimum of two regular matches tomorrow (and a maximum of four regular matches,
three singles and one doubles). I think it will be done in three matches, max.

After all the regular matches are over, if the teams are still tied, there is a "best of one set" doubles match to decide who wins.

Paul Annacone is campaigning hard for a Nadal - Kyrgios singles tie to be in the mix. Any rules about what we will or won't see tomorrow?

I believe neither Roger nor Rafa will be playing the first two matches (not due to rules, but to simply not play unnecessarily; why play a man when a boy can do the job). If the boys cannot get it done in the first two matches, there is a chance that Rafa or Roger (or both if they delay one more match) will get into action.

Oh Boy, this is getting more difficult than I thought it would be. It has already gone to the 12th match. If Fed does not get the job done against Nick (who got point for his team on both Friday and Saturday), it will go to a "Best of one set" (I hate that phrase) doubles to decide the winner.
