Darn it, he saw it;)

It's OK herios, as long as you don't make me cheer very loudly for Milos....in fact I might even do it if he doesn't play one of my favourites...but I am not making a sign for him like I do for Nole:blush:
:lolz:

That is OK, I am also rooting for Nole when he plays Milos, you know that I hope!

I know that herios...besides nobody would dare watch a Nole tennis match with me and not root for him. :laydownlaughing

NEVER... :nono

Which means Moxie and I are never hooking up for a tennis match, unless it doesn't involve Nole;)

Alright, I am stopping.....have a great night all and don't mind me and my ways:blush:

Actually, if you found yourself at the USO, I'd be happy to watch a match with you, and I'd buy you an over-priced drink and sandwich, just for visiting my city. I'm sure we could survive an early round, even if it were either Rafa or Nole playing, with good humor. And since I would rather have my eyes stabbed out that watch a SF or F in Ashe, as opposed to at home, there's no worry that we'd have to endure them playing each other. OK, that would probably be a bridge too far, for hands across the 49th parallel.

:laydownlaughing

I saw most of the upset match tonight, Tomas just didn't have it. DF was the norm tonight, he took his chances with that second serve and most didn't make it, everytime he tried a regular second serve, it got drilled, so he was outta luck.
I saw S Giraldo (COL) vs. V Estrella Burgos (DOM) too, that was as one sided as it gets, the Dominican couldn't even get the ball back in.
Had to leave before Kai ended his match, it was just getting too late, I left around 11:25 pm.

Quarters coming right up:

I had to work today so I could not cover Milos vs. Lleyton match, so I had Steve Tignor cover it for you!

I anticipated well Steve Johnson's upward move. He is taking out the second big server in a row, Karlovic this time.

Tough ask phor Lumberjack Johnson. Isner and Karlovic. Raonic next and potentially Anderson aphter that. That's a lot of trees to cut down!

Saw all of Rusty/Milos and Berd/Popsicle. Milos had like 28 aces, but was almost double digits in DF's. Raonic didn't really play particularly well, but was steady in the TB's and Hewitt isn't consistent enough at this stage to threaten him.

Pops just ran all over Berd. I think Berd is in a huge slump. Others are right, he's been struggling under the radar for months now. It's caught up to him and finally being brought to the light.

Couldn't stay for Kei, but saw him outside doing his drills and warming up. Here's a brain teaser for ya. Hewitt looks taller in person than he does on TV. Kei looks smaller in person than he does on TV.

By the way Herios & Murat: I found a bigger Milos fan than both of you combined. The guy sitting near me was so vocal. After every point he was cheering louder than a pack of high schoolers during spirit week. :D

Nishikori vs Gasquet should be interesting. Gasquet has a 4-0 record over Kei, three of those wins very comfortable, but he's had a pretty poor year by his standards and Nishikori is always improving...

It's cloudy in Washington, air is moist and there is wind whirling out there, forecast calls for thunder storms and light rain. High temps to reach 80 F

I can't believe Donald pulled another three setter out of his hat!
I am going in late again, I am hoping I'll catch the late matches.

There are not many things that Richard Gasquet can do with flying colours at the sharp end of tennis, but it appears defeating Kei Nishikori is one of them for now. 61 64 is a disappointing loss for Kei against somebody who has been struggling for momentum this year.

That's five wins for Richard against KN without response, Kei has won just one set off of him.
