Raonic is not just a big server though... I hope he is not in Nole's side of the USO draw.;)

Yeah, me too, cause I want a Nole - Milos final;)

:gross: Besides being a predictable final, it would also kill the TV ratings for the U.S. Open

Djokovic v. Dimitrov would be better.

A healthy Rafa v. No1e would be best, but that's not going to happen. :s

Popsicle breaks after a long rally. He is up 2-0 in the second. The doubles success has helped his confidence a lot it seems like...

Not a good way for Berdych to gain either confidence or momentum heading into the meat of the summer hard court season.

yeah he is playing really well tonight. Even though I like Tomas, I would be thrilled for Vasek, if he can win this tonight.:D

I immediately thought of you when herios posted this. :D

Hopefully herios stopped reading here otherwise I will hear it from him soon, but I just can't warm up to Milos. I know I should, he is Canadian, he is Nole's friend, he even speaks Serbian, but something in his demeanor is not jiving with me. On the other hand, I really dig Vasek:heart:

Not many people have mentioned it but Berdy hasn't been in much better than "okay" form either -

Since Miami:
Monte Carlo R3 (d. Tursunov... l. to Garcia-Lopez)
Oeiras F (d. Devvarman, L.Mayer, Hanescu... l. to Berlocq)
Madrid QF (d. Anderson, Dimitrov... l. to Nadal)
Rome R3 (d. Tursunov... l. to Dimitrov)
Roland Garros QF (d. Polansky, Nedovysev, Bautista Agut, Isner... l. to Gulbis)
Queens QF (d. Duckworth, Mannarino... l. to Lopez)
Wimbledon R3 (d. Hanescu, Tomic... l. to Cilic)

He could do with this win as well, though not quite as badly as Pospisil.

Well done Vasek. He was better prepared, played more matches on hard courts, his opponent was rusty and voila: an upset. :clap

Yeah, Tomas' season hasn't been very hot at all.:puzzled

He started in really strong form, semis in Australia, winner in Rotterdam, final of Dubai and semis in Miami, since then has only made that one final in Portugal where nobody else played and somehow lost to Berlocq after bagelling the first set. It's not like he's been getting unlucky and coming up against player on hot streaks either....

I think it is normal for players to have their ups and downs during a season, tennis season is a long one so everybody goes through it. It is just a matter of which player navigates through their ups and downs the best and doesn't have such big extremes. If it is understandable what I want to say.

It would be no fun if they didn't have ups and downs, we'd have nothing to talk about :)

Isn't that the truth, TF7:D

That is where all fun begins, luckily for Tomas he doesn't have devoted fans here otherwise we would probably hear from them...how dare we criticizing him when his arm is hurting....or whatever;)

Hey I am back to celebrate Vasek:laydownlaughing:clap

About your and nehmeth statement above, you either will have to warm up to Milos or deal with the fact he will become a fixture in the final phases of the big events, like it or not.
About the ratings going down, blah...little do I care.
The Canadian media will be all over it, already we are shown more than ESPN features, because of Milos.

Darn it, he saw it;)

It's OK herios, as long as you don't make me cheer very loudly for Milos....in fact I might even do it if he doesn't play one of my favourites...but I am not making a sign for him like I do for Nole:blush:
:lolz:

That is OK, I am also rooting for Nole when he plays Milos, you know that I hope!
