I was live in 2005 with my French cousins when Rafa won his first RG title I will Never Forget it for the rest of my life
I have also been live in Rafa's back yard many times live to see him win, probably the best time was in 2008 when Rafa took his clay court tennis to another level a experience that I will never ' forget' to me he is the greatest competitor ' in sports, noone will exceed his 14 titles at RG well not in my life time anyway:)

Who do you think has more likelihood of winning the match?
Djokovic would be the favorite, but something tells me that Rafa will win the match if they meet in R2. Rafa really has nothing to lose. All the pressure will be on Djokovic. Rafa already has a singles gold, which Djokovic doesn't have. Not to mention, Djokovic would need to win to maintain the H2H advantage.

Rain has
Hence Rafa's in bad form even on clay.
Did you watch the final in Sweden? Rafa's serve was poor for starters, he will have to improve that, also he has a upper thigh strain, which is due for long matches which he isnt used to at present, he was still wearing a bandage on his right thigh in practice yesterday with Alcaraz, , lets see how he fares in his doubles match at present due to the rain there are only 2 courts operating Chatrier and Lenglen

Rafa needs some help from the tennis gods to provide assistance with some bright sunny days

Boris Becker cant help himself on Twitter, I feel he needs the money and is after a coaching job ASAP :)
AP thinks that Tsitsipas would be an ideal player for Becker to coach

Poor Aussie Matt Ebden it looks like he could be getting a Double Bagel from Novak
Novak leading 4-0 2nd set, won the 1st set 60
To be fair to Matt he is a doubles specialist and hasnt played a singles match in 2 years! and he was the 1st alternative, Andy Murray was suppose to play Novak in his first rd match, then decided to withdraw and just concentrate on doubles wit Dan Evans
Novak wins 60 61

Carlos Alcaraz on Lenglen my favorite court, getting up close and personal to players, also faster court than Chatrier wins with ease 63 61

Just an reminder this is Alcaraz's first doubles match since over 2 years ( Madrid 2022)
Gonzalez/Molteni break first game, then Rafa and Carlos break straight back

Spain were down early but broke back, a tight 2nd set match, with Spain breaking and will serve for the match 5-4
Rafa to serve
Rafa with a great over head smash at the net brings up MP, cross court volley from Rafa long
Rafa serving at 40-30 with 1 MP, Carlos with a put away volley Vamos!
Rafa/Carlos defeat the No 6 seeds Gonzalez/Moltoni 76(4) 64!
