I got distracted and missed the first set of Stephens/Muguruza. Couldn't even watch the conclusion of Wawrinka/Tsitsipas. Stephens looks good. She's playing her game where she plays with more power but puts more work on the ball. This is the thing about Sloane I love. How she seems to have like 2 or 3 different ways of playing. And she's so smart about the way she does it. Of course, she can still be very bad sometimes. Just making all the wrong decisions. But then she can also turn it around, like she did against Pliskova in the year end championships last year.
Serving for it!!!!!
Muguruza looks to just not be quite there yet. Still searching a bit for her game. But also, she's looks like she's working really hard physically and may be exhausted.
