Another fine win in the round of 16 by Iga Swiatek in Warshaw. She was playing a good opponent Gabriella Lee who made good effort to resist Iga but was overpowered in the second set.

Tough match for Iga. Caroline Garcia played very well with an impresive forehand. She played quick, hard and deep and it was a gamewise like Igas and Iga was not prepared for that - lost first set1-6 but returned the favour winning second set 6-1. Third set was a tough set between the two hard hitters. They followed each other to 3-4 with Iga to serve - and she lost her game - 5-3 Garcia and Iga broke back 5-4 Iga to serve.- and she's broken AGAIN - well deserved winner BRAVO Garcia

I am surprised by the result, with Caroline winning on her least favorite surface clay, good win for her regardless

Winners today will be Bogdan, Noskova, Paolini and Potapova. They better be and I'll be minted! Noskova is unreal. Her match against Cornet made me instantly back her to beat Bouzkova and she will. Garcia will suffer the often seen just beat the world number 1 and now I'm gonna lose my next match syndrome and also has her leg taped which just reinforces that. Potapova will also win.

Bogdan and Baindl can't hold serve to save their lives. Embarrassing.

Ok, seems Garcia isn't succumbing to the lose next match after beating the world number 1 syndrome! Fairly pathetic stuff from Paolini.

Bad day for my predictions! Noskova had points for 4-1 in set 2. Real opportunity missed and messed.

2 out of 4 is better than none or 1 out of 4 at least. Some really crap one sided matches today.

Linda will get more experienced, she had some wild shots, give her time.
