I think dopers should get more severe punishment than match fixers. Kicker was banned for life. Why are drug cheats getting lenient treatment?
I agree with you. A question that I've often wondered about as a fan of equestrian sports is, "if the rider has been on drugs are they penalised because it's the horse that does the work?" I know that if the horse was doped they are disqualified. The spirit of fair play is at the very core of sports. Doping throws that sentiment out the window. It is blatant cheating. We’ll have to agree to disagree
Citing what kind of injury?Sharapova and Keys withdraw from Birmingham.
Citing what kind of injury?
I think she'll be there. Her pec strain wasn't that bad and she should be ready to go.I got a strange feeling that Serena isn’t going to participate at Wimbledon..
I didn't know her but I'm very sorry to hear that. Many of you are former T.com/TW posters and may remember Lorraine, or LorraineB, she has been a regular at Bluemoonball these past 3-4 years, ok 5, time flies when you're having fun ;-)
We recently received notice that Lorraine passed away on April 10th. She was a witty, knowledgeable sports fan and loved Tennis, Roger & Andy R, not necessarily in that order. She will be missed by all that knew her.
