I hope Bartoli gets her life together. The wild swings in her weight is indicative of something amiss.

I think dopers should get more severe punishment than match fixers. Kicker was banned for life. Why are drug cheats getting lenient treatment?

Tricky one... but at least the drug cheats are playing to win rather than lose. I personally think match-fixing is a bigger offence.

On the same note, I was glad Errani got her ban extended. I'm sick of the "Mummy dropped some illegal substances in my food" arguments. The doping bans need to be longer and more consistent... but match-fixing? Even longer again.

The spirit of fair play is at the very core of sports. Doping throws that sentiment out the window. It is blatant cheating. We’ll have to agree to disagree

I agree with you. A question that I've often wondered about as a fan of equestrian sports is, "if the rider has been on drugs are they penalised because it's the horse that does the work?" I know that if the horse was doped they are disqualified.

Many of you are former T.com/TW posters and may remember Lorraine, or LorraineB, she has been a regular at Bluemoonball these past 3-4 years, ok 5, time flies when you're having fun ;-)

We recently received notice that Lorraine passed away on April 10th. She was a witty, knowledgeable sports fan and loved Tennis, Roger & Andy R, not necessarily in that order. She will be missed by all that knew her.

I didn't know her but I'm very sorry to hear that.
