I don't know where is early wimby women talk. So, I am posting it here. It looks like Kvitova might win another one this year.

Don’t fall for it, GSM. Just when fans think Petra has turned the corner and will win, she will lose to someone ranked 100. Isn’t she overplaying this grass season?

Ya, I don't know why she is playing in Eastbourne.

Sabine Lisciki lost in the qualifying.

I hope Kvitova wins it, if Serena doesn't. Kvitova has an excellent grass court game.

Both Vera and Genie (also Nicole Gibbs) win their second round qualifying matches. One more win and they are in MD.

I wonder whether Bouchard will ever get back to top 20. She’s either too complacent with the money she’s earned/received from the lawsuit or needs to get back to her old playing style.

Glad to see Serena getting seeded. They placed her one place below MS. I don’t think that’s a coincidence.

1. Genie knows that being a blue-eyed blonde with dimensions of 36-27-35 she could make tons of money if she can come back up. But, her game is kind of one dimensional, generally hugging the baseline and taking the balls early. I am sure she will come back up from her current terrible situation. But, not sure whether she will make it to either #1 or become GS champ. She can surely get back into top 20. She is only 24 and so she has time to climb back up.

2. It is completely coincidental. Wimbledon folks wanted to seed Serena. So, they need to place her somewhere in the 32 positions. To avoid controversy, they did not want to give her too much draw advantage. So, they decided to place her somewhere between 25 and 32 as these spots have the minimum draw advantage. As all the spots between 25 and 32 have the same advantage in draw, they decided to look magnanimous by placing her at #25. Meldopova's official current ranking is #24 and so her seeding is also natural. Anyway, this means Serena cannot meet Maria before the 4th round. Also, in order for them to meet, each one of them need to get at least one (possibly more depending on the draw) "upset win" over a better seeded opponent.

I still have a feelin she isn’t gonna be a participant at SW19

She is playing #2 seed in the last round. But, her opponent is not a up and coming player, but a 28 year old journeywoman and so Genie has a very good chance.

Not so much concern about her opponents but her conditioning and her shoulder/arm injury..

If you are talking about Serena, she had pectoral injury and not arm/shoulder. But, no need to worry, she is definitely playing. See her recent tweet below. She is kind of predicting that she and Roger will win this year. I will take her prediction. BTW, make sure to notice two GOATS at the end of her tweet. :D
