Don't understand why she was only fined $4500 but Serena was fined $10000 for her tirade at US Open. The media made a big deal about Serena's behavior but I haven't heard that much about Karolina's behavior

Big difference between the two incidences. One was a direct threat of bodily harm to an individual even if we all know Serena would not have laid a hand on the linesperson. The other was destruction of property with most people acknowledging that the ump was wrong in not handling the situation properly.

I think Serena has protected ranking which allows her to enter tournaments without wild cards. It’s dumb to seed strictly based on rankings.

I have been watching Serena on HBO..I know it’s was taped months ago but she still is a bit too heavy.. She should’ve waited for Wimbledon to make her appearance on court.

Oh, boy folks are politicizing it. There was five minute segment on CNN discussing the point of view that "Serena is being punished (as she did not get a seeding) for having a baby". Where were these people when Davenport, Kim Clijsters, Azrenka and several others came back after birth and played accepting their current ranking.

To be fair, it is not Serena who is complaining. It is her overzealous fans who always think of it as "World vs. Serena". For the most part, it was the race card and it is the sex card being used.
