I've always wondered about this - Do these players have medical coverage through the ITF/WTA? Anyone knows?

It's an optional benefit, according to the WTA's Official Rulebook (see subsection iii below):

2. Membership Benefits:

a. Full and Associate Member Benefits

i. Personal access to the PlayerZone.

ii. Important WTA information and Tournament updates via email.

iii. Optional worldwide medical, dental and vision insurance.

iv. Waiver of $150 administrative fee at all WTA Tournaments and Grand Slams.

Thats an interesting fact. Most of the players from modern Western countries have full public health care (unlike the Americans.)

I don't think the players are getting any medical benefits or even insurance free from
WTA or ATP. I interpret iii) above to mean that WTA is offering players a chance to
buy medical, dental and vision insurance through them and it is presumably at a
group rate and hence is probably cheaper than what it would cost them to buy it
all by themselves.

She has not yet publicly said where she will play her next event.

Vaidisova lost her second match to Johanna Konta 6:1, 1:6, 4:6. She should play the ITF tourney in Las Vegas next week. She hasn't been on the ranking list yet so she has to wait for eventual WC to be able to play anywhere. That's why she can't say where she would play in advance.

Noted:)

Just some updated news regarding Nicole Vaidosova she is playing this week in a $50,000 Las Vegas Challenger event.

That's how I interpret it, too. The word "optional" implies it's not free, but, yes, probably cheaper than buying it on your own.

I suspect the big names have their own arrangements, which may even be part of other business endeavors, such as sponsors like Nike, Wilson, etc.

Give me a proof or link please.

i could not paste the link. Here is an excerpt dated Sept 17, 2014

There are rumors going around the world of tennis that Maria Sharapova and Grigor Dimitrov have allegedly called it quits.

According to reports, the two have unfollowed each other on Twitter and neither one of them has been seen watching the other play in the U.S. Open recently.

Sharapova and Dimitrov have been dating each other since 2012. They were also recently rumored to be engaged. However, if there is any truth to the speculations, the couple might have decided to break up to focus on their respective careers.

A major wrist surgery has prevented Laura Robson from playing competitively for most of 2014,nevertheless,Nike has decided to make the Brit a part of their team now that Li Na is gone.

Laura was previously sponsored by Adidas.
