A major wrist surgery has prevented Laura Robson from playing competitively for most of 2014,nevertheless,Nike has decided to make the Brit a part of their team now that Li Na is gone.

Laura was previously sponsored by Adidas.

That means she's entitled to a few ugly customized outfits going forward. :lolz:

and a lot of dough to wear them.

I honestly don't know how any player survives in a relationship. They travel nearly 75% of the year!

This is exactly where it's harder for the women than the men, IMO. Plenty of women are willing to be the WAG of a tennis player, but men are not so willing to give up their identities to travel with a tennis player. Renfoo was unusual, in that he had his own flexible schedule. But the men are clearly not as pressured to choose between personal life and the peripatetic life of a tennis player.

Lol well Redfoo's career had also kind of taken a nosedive!

I kind of think it's probably not great for a tennis player who hasn't matured completely yet to have a significant other traveling with them.

World No180 Sesil Karatantcheva,formerly ranked as high as No35,has decided to revoke her Kazakh citizenship,which she adopted in early 2009and get back to representing Bulgaria.

The Sofia-born Bulgarian,who is of Bulgarian origin-her father was also a Bulgarian National Champion,in volleyball-opted to represent Kazakhstan when the country,ie the Kazakh Tennis Federation,offered her a $65,000 annual incentive for playing for them.Her decision to change citizenship back then was of pure financial nature,and since then the conditions have apparently changed,the 25-year-old,best known for her French Open q/final run in 2005,will return to her Bulgarian roots.

I think he might be better suited with a model of some type who has oodles of time to sit in his box and travel with him.

yes Monfils and Vika are free spirits...they live life to the beat of their own drum..:clap

I really like Monfils. He seems to be a great guy. I just think he and Vika are not dating. Can someone post a link? Am I the only person who thinks she and Gulbis might hook up?
