Looks like Kyrgios-Murray 4R? :(

Edit: Roger's draw looks good before the semis.

The Kyrgios's section of the draw has lot of dangerous floaters such as Brown and Stepanek not to mention Deliciano who is usually good on grass. Kyrgios will succumb to one or the other and would not live to see Murray.

Roger will surely reach quarterfinals despite his physical frailties. If Kei also arrives there, anything could happen. The result would probably depend on who has more frailties. Kei has game to take out Fed. But, on grass Fed should be able to win against Kei, especially the ribless version of Kei.

The draw gods have answered my prayer. After the first two rounds, definitely Novak has the toughest draw.

3rd Round: Rosol
4th round: Kohlschrbrier / Mahut
QF: Raonic
Sf: Federer (assuming he makes it there and is healthy).
F: Murray.

He needs to go through this to make his 5th slam in a row to be somewhat deserving at least.

It's all gravy now that he's won Paris finally! The way I see it, Nole could take off the rest of the season! Since he isn't, he can only improve his standing in tennis history! If I were you, I'd be more worried about my fave than being so concerned about what Djokovic's doing! :nono :cover

They reduced the prize money for Wimbledon winner by about 20%. :devil

Saving money after the announcement that the UK are leaving the EU I guess! Tight gits.

Most of the dangerous floaters are in Andy's half. Djoke gets a relatively easy draw. Let's see what Raonic does in the quarters.

Dangerous floaters huh? Sounds like the aftermath of a night on the town :snicker

The turd of death. I'll pass on the photo this time.

The prize money remains the same. Since the announcement of "leave", the british Pound has lost value by 20% and so I posted that message sarcastically.

I doubt that Kei will reach QF. Either Gilles Muller (who is currently hot in the warm-ups) or Cilic will probably reach the QF to face Fed.

Roger's quarter looks like a casualty ward in a hospital. It has the maximum number of invalid people, including himself.

Roger (knee, back), Kei (ribs), Tipsy (coming back from foot surgery and knee injury), Grigor (mind, five consecutive losses), Benneteau (coming back from abductor injury, seven consecutive losses),
Baker (too many to mention, make a random pick and chances are he has that problem), Monfils (groin).

Bottomline whoever wins this quarter will be an easy fodder for the winner of the top quarter.

Tignor speaks. He goes completely with the seedings. He expects the top 4 seeds to make the semifinals, the top two seeds to make the finals and the top seed to lift the trophy. A boring, although quiet probable, prediction.

With Fed falling in Nole's half and Ralph sitting out, Andy is virtually assured of a center court placement for each and every one of his matches. They won't even relegate his first round match as he plays another british guy as an added bonus.

Zverev falls in Thiem's octet again. I wish he was able to avoid the entire Thiem's quarter.

Set up! Besides Murray playing a Brit, so does Nole in the 1st round with Ward and maybe Edmunds in the next! Looks very shady; making all those Centre Court appearances for the "home team!"  :p

The final round of quals is over. Both Q. Halys and D. Brands lost. I believe none of the teenagers in the qualifying draw actually made it.

Bjorn Frantengelo, doubles player Roger-Vasselin qualified.

Since there is nothing wrong with dreaming ............

Fed's draw is quite reasonable with a not too difficult path to Semifinals. The Novak - Fed match at Wimby may be different this year as

1) Fed will have less pressure than playing in the finals against Novak as it will not be a #18 match.
2) Novak will face lot of pressure as he is in the run for CYGS.
3) Fed may play more aggressive as he realizes that his movement is hampered and he cannot
hang-in with Novak in baseline rallies. The last two years also he was not able to hang in with
Novak in baseline rallies. But, the difference was he thought he could hang in and so did not
play as aggressively as he could which is the only way he can win against Novak.
4) Fed has almost no expectations going in to this Wimbledon and so this may let him play more freely.
5) Novak might be softened up vy Rosol/Kohly/Raonic before arriving at SF.

But, it is premature to do all these calculations right now. I will do them on middle sunday.
