Apparently something about that was coming up for a vote in the House this week. It was originally scheduled to be voted on in June, except that a Congressman was unfortunately shot, in a terrible bit of timing for the vote on it. Bad timing again, as it seems. Somehow the notion is that it could be better, as hearing protection for hunters, who might easily wear protective gear, as opposed to the public safety concern of not knowing where a shot is coming from in our ever-increasing mass-shootings. Maybe this is one that won't get through. SMH.

I'm obviously not referring to neo-facists or KKK, I'm referring to people on the centre ground who are getting pulled into the arms of extremist groups - in particular groups like AntiFA.
Ok, but who do you imagine those people are? I don't see it happening, in the same way I don't see middle-group Trump supporters "getting pulled into the arms" of neo-fascists.

A lot of the footage on Youtube is showing an unholy alliance of AntiFA, Communists, Socialists, BLM and left leaning students. If they are at the centre of some of these marches and protests, others who probably wouldn't normally get drawn in, end up doing so. If you watch the Berkeley clashes, it's pretty evident and also "middle-group" Trump supporters are just getting labelled as Nazis and Racists. It's not isolated to Trump supporters by the way, or the USA, even peaceful protesters in favour of free speech are getting attacked by this rabble.

Here's a young fella holding an inoffensive sign, getting attacked by these morons.

Your video is from the UK. I can't speak for what goes on there. Likely right now, neither can you. But you can't tell me what's going on in the US better than I can tell you. Firstly, there are no Communists in the US and almost no Socialists. Basically just Bernie Sanders, and he's not dangerous. And there is no "unholy alliance" between AntiFa, BLM and left-leaning students. There is a Black Lives Matters movement, which has reasonable support amongst a lot of left-leaning people, not just students. As to AntiFa (Black Flag), I believe that it exists, as it has for some time, but I'm telling you I don't see them at marches. Their current influence might be exaggerated by the right, which is clearly trying to create an opposite to the certainly increasing extreme-Right presence here. They've been called the Alt-Left, which is not a thing. It's a construct of the right, which Trump is buying into. I have seen a lot of these modern leftist anarchists over the last couple of decades, mostly during the Bush years, in the anti-war movement, and at Occupy Wall Street. They are really not as much of a presence right now as then. I live in anarchy-central, here in lower Manhattan, they are not as much around or influential as you think they are. I have seen less of them than in the past. I think you're exaggerating their importance based on bad intel. Don't believe everything you see on youtube.

You said you don't see them at marches... yet 200 were arrested at the DC march, many of them AntiFA... weren't you on that march yourself? another 150 in Portland... police saying they haven't seen this stuff on the same scale since the 60s...

I know you only trust filtered sources like CNN, WashPost and the NY Times rather than raw footage (of which their is literally tons), so maybe this might be another useful article:

Don't be snarky. I wasn't offering anecdotal info as some notion that they don't exist. I'm just saying I don't think they're any more pervasive than the iteration of them during Bush and Occupy. No one was arrested in the Women's march in DC. I think you're talking about the inauguration.
