Always nice to see Petra win matches. She always reminds me of Monica. So sad what happened to them.
Hopefully she will be able to win at least one big title.

Watching a bit of Zverev match he is playing Nakashima (223) who was holding his own in the first set.Zverev won 75.

Brandon Nakashima (USA) levels the match with Zverev 76(8).Bit of an Aussie connection as Pat Cash is his coach

Zverev taking control of the match wins 3rd set 63 and leads 5-1 in the 4th set

Zverev d Nakashima 75 67(8) 63 61

Edmund has won the 1st set from Djokovic. If Nadal had him as an opponent people would be complaining about how easy his draw is. Lol Hopefully Edmund can go all the way and get the win.

Edmund will keep Djoke out there for 4 sets. He’s done his job.

Also the more the match lasts the more chance Djokovic might be disqualified due to his behaviour. If Edmund keeps it close enough Djokovic might violently slam the ball or his racket and it could hit one of the judge lines or ballboys...

Lol didn’t the 2017 USO draw include Anderson, Del Potro and Rublev who have all beaten Federer, with some wins including Wimbledon and the USO? Don’t be stupid. Either way my point was about the entry list not about draws and upsets.
My point was about the entry list, too. I mentioned nothing about draws or upsets. I'm just saying to YOU that if you're going to troll one Major for lack of important entry list, you should remember you could be accused of living in a glass house. Also, you should remember that Anderson beat Roger only after the 2017 USO, as did Rublev, who was only 19 at the 2017 USO. I've only ever said that Fed fans were sour grapes about Rafa's win in that tournament. You really should try to keep up.

Cressy has a lot of game, but loses the first set in TB, and not enough to show for it. Let's see if he can keep it up. He's really tall, and likes the S&V.

Looks like Tsitsipas will win this match, but a) Cressy certainly earned his WC, and b) Stefanos is going to have to improve that serve if he's not going to mess up my draw challenge.

the point he was making is that the Nadal 2017 us open draw was not easy looking back at it which he's right rublev Anderson would go on and beat federer in the next seasons it does not matter that their had not beaten federer at the time. both players was playing great tennis at 2017 us open and beating everybody else until they played nadal, their wins against federer in my opinion showed that fedheads was wrong about 2017 us open as well del potro already being a great player who just beaten federer. he,s also right about this years us open entry its not even close to level of completion of 2017 or 2019 us opens, but it great tennis majors are back of course.

Well on the bright side, we won't have John Isner bitching how the fans are rooting for the nonAmerican in his matches.

Typical; Johnson upsets Isner, then goes out in the next round! How does he even stay in the top 100? I played like that 30 years ago! He has no real weapons! He just made Nole's path a little easier!

I don't know why I even respond to you and the other troll. Do you think I'm campaigning for the notion that Nadal didn't deserve that win? I'm not going to re-debate the whole 2017 US Open with you, and yes, I've been one who has said all along that the top half was the complicated part of the draw. (Which Nadal anchored and Fed was in.) Rublev and Anderson have no point in the conversation. Nadalfan2013 was trying to make out that this tournament, when, as he prematurely asserts, Djokovic wins it, won't be worth as much as a regular Major. I only pointed out to him that there were more top men's players that didn't post in 2017 than haven't made it to this one. MY point is: that doesn't matter. There is a quorum. They show up, and they all have to play a maximum of 7 matches. It's not like if it's only Novak, Rafa, Roger and then a bunch of rhubarbs, even when it feels like that. It's a Major, and it's being played, and whoever wins it will deserve it. Full stop.
