Oh sorry thought it was the US open, but yes this is the scene i meant.
The ball from Novak wasnt hit hard and with no anger. This was far from excessive aggressivness or even violence, which from the rule book is one of the reasons for immidiate dc.
They could have punished him smoother, rule books would have allowed it.
But thats against their motivation.
