bloody low life racism card played here. wtf is this sick talk? he is from south Europe, Shapo is from Canada and he didn't get a concession when he also hit someone 'accidentally'. So far anyone who hit anyone with a ball/racquet in anger has not been able to escape default.

If they let Djoker off the hook, would you be kind enuf to say they discriminated against a Canadian? thought so.
Dont talk about racism to anyone, you retard creep, you are a real racist coward, you know why i know it. Back in your hole retardo.

It may have hit her jugular.
obviously I'm not on team Djokovic on this. And I'm totally on board with everything that's happened. I get that it hit her in the neck. But I really didn't think he hit the ball that hard... but anyway I'm glad to hear that she's well

Yes, I think you have the mentality of a preschool teacher, but even a preschool teacher would be like an MMA fighter compared to you in terms of toughness. Calling Djokovic a “psycho” because of this incident simply shows how much you dislike Djokovic and frankly how silly you are and how much of a pansy you are. This was not a highly violent incident. To paint it as such is not only inaccurate; it is downright stupid.
And you have mentality of evil psycho who wanted djokovic to get away with hitting a old woman in the neck at 50km with a tennis ball so its not call out really good god loving people like myself, and was a incident but still violent all the way hes always acting like a brat finally got thats coming to him. and guess that djokovic has not beaten nadal on clay since 2016, thats 4 years man LOL and thats next RG Nadal 13th title coming up soon.

I thought this statement was poor to be honest. There was a little too much "me" at the front of it for my tastes. He has not represented himself well recently
For me it is a good statement. Nothing else needed.

Everyone can feel save, the barbarian Serbian is gone. i think for quite a while.

No one says he should get away with it. Penalty yes, but THIS??????? Really?
If someone has the will to look a bit into this family guy, that he is, no one could call him violent.
Jesus, this is professional sports, not children-gaming.

I congratulate you and all other real Nadalfans, not the troll bastards out there, he will now, through this farce, catch the slam record and maybe few other records.
You must be very lucky that the job was done that easily.

Nadal must be jumping around in his house, he can relax now. Like most of the tennis world.
dont flatter yourself, he is way smarter than that. As he knows not do anything stupid then he'd get no trouble.

actually the entire thing was caused by what 'me' did. but at his age, he should have known better......he is not a teenager like Shapo.

In same tournament , early rounds, a player hits a cameraman with the ball.
Code violation , thats it.
It is unbelievable injustice.
I know you are happy Moxie, like the other Novak-hating creeps out there, enjoy it.
Now you dont have to fear about the records anymore. Congrats to Nadal and Federer, they earn it.
whinging shit, they never did this to others. They have earnt it too.......Novak was going for the easy picking here, once in a thousand years opportunity, only it wasn't so smooth sailing that he snapped. Like it was Fed/Nadal's fault.

Diehard idiot will say anything.

Injustice.......tell that to Nalby and Shapo.

Bloody retard.

He can fight Nadal, and beated him.
he can fight Federer and beated him.
He can fight the fucking British-, French-, Aussie- and US crowd, and beated them too.

But he cant fight the Assosiation on court. Its impossible.

Finally they found a way to put him down and neutralize him.

Oh yeah must be that they set him up to have that woman standing there and offer her throat to be hit so they can disqualify him.

Diehard idiot crying victim again, making up story about conspiracy too. How about they implanted a chip into his arm that made him do it?

Yeah fucking Brits, French, Aussie and American crowd. The whole world are fucking assholes except Djoker and his diehards.

The rule is, you hit someone you are OUT. Diehard says, yes apply the rule as long as it is not Djokovic.

Only apply to others please.

Otherwise it it not FAIR.

Its unbelievable this injustice, they should him treat at least like everyone else. Nothing before disqualification, nothing.

No anger, bad accident, he was bit too careless, thats it. They treat him like a murderer.
Really? murderers don't get to go back to luxury hotels and private planes. They treated him like everyone else? like Shapo and Nalby, so WTF are you whinging? he did get the same treatment.

Maybe you don't want him to be treated the same, just say it hypocrite.

I understand that you have hard time to accept all this. I don't like it either, but there is nothing questionable about the disqualification, rules are the rules.

It's just how bizzare all situation is. How he hit the lines woman without even looking there and right in her throat (and she was hurt, it's visible on the video). Do you believe that sometimes some things in life are just meant to be, you know like written, fate or whatever? So how Novak won that Wimbledon last year, what were the odds? Same here, just unbelievable how it all happened, but it did and we just need to accept it as it is. Seems like Novak is well aware that he crossed the line and this time he just payed for it. Hope this will be a lesson for him to be just a little bit more cautious in the future.
well said, players know they take a risk when smacking balls in frustration. he got close before already, he wasn't that unlucky.......as if its the first time he smacked balls in frustration. Shapo's ball hit umpire who was even further, i don't think he felt it was unlucky or unfair. He was just shocked that it happened. Now he is not doing that again after learning the lesson. I didn't see Nalby kicking anything after either. Positives come out of these things, apparently.

Look at Moxie be all hard-and-fast and no-nonsense with the rules on the books. It’s a wonder that she isn’t a hard liner when it comes to 20 million people being in the United States illegally too. After all, the rules on the books are the rules on the books and those people broke the law, right?

I also have a very hard time believing that Moxie would be this cut-and-dry about this issue if this had happened to Nadal. She would be bringing up the fact that he had never done this before and that it was too steep a penalty. The fact is, Moxie is just ecstatic that Djokovic will not be winning this Slam and that one of the young Tier 2 players will finally win a Slam by default. Moxie has been wanting one of them, especially Tsitsipas, to finally win a Slam for over three years and she has constantly been predicting it, so now she finally got her wish. As usual, Moxie has a hard time hiding her bias.
Fact is, Nadal never even thrown a racquet or smacked a ball in anger. I think you should applaud him for that, since he has been in pressure situations more than probably anyone and it is very hard to control, especially when almost every other player does it.

Bottom line, Nadal will never do it so he won't ever get the penalty, seems fair to me.
