Nope. I don't think this is about your linguistic skills. You're most likely daft in any language. Don't worry... I'm sure it's not your fault..

Rafa plays Leonardo Mayer in R3. Mayer entered the quals, won the first two rounds and then lost in the third round. So, he actually did not qualify. When someone else withdrew from the MD, he got in as a lucky loser.

Says the person who recently claimed Roger skipped one of his most successful tournaments (Cinci) because of "discomfort of the ego" as it can't be an injury apparently if the player is out less than a month. You then said it was just rust last 2 rounds and Federer looks healthy and then FINALLY you admit he is injured and should take the rest of the year off and not play here 'cos he could end his career by doing so. Sure, you come across as much more intelligent than Federberg lol.

He gets Lorenzi next. I'd pencil Anderson into the QF but doing stuff like that has been the kiss of death for this tournament.

Fed is 12-0 vs. Deliciano, his R3 opponent and 11-0 vs. Kohly, his likely R4 opponent. This is dream situation, if only he is healthy.
These are the next line for long losing record to Fed (next only to Ferrer and Youzhny with 17-0 and Nieminen 16-0 when you look
at players with long losing streak with no wins against Fed).

So 4 whole slams without reaching the 4th. And of those 4 when was he up against a field as depleted as this?

Djokovic, Murray, Wawrinka...those are the players that Kyrgios wouldn't have played before the fourth round.

Yup, it's pointless alright. A vicious circle. I just like to point out to newer posters to the site what they're dealing with when they see this individual bad mouth Fed fans and then go on a rampage spouting horseshit like the above. Hopefully they'll come to their senses and see it for what it really is.

Sam Querry is apparently the only guy from the bottom half who has at least reached an SF before. Now he is down a set to Albot.
This nightmare is continuing. SQ may also go home today.

Yep, this is vicious circle. As more that I repeat about if Federer is injured he should has to take more time off but if he is not it's because he is just playing bad as most that all of you look more and more dumb with your response.
Jzzz you can tell that you are the majority, this is very disturbing.

And Raonic and Nishikori are out, he knows coming in Fed is likely not 100%, etc. It's not just about not having to play them, it's overall the most depleted field he will ever see and something like that should motivate even him to put his best foot forward and try to seize a big opportunity to go deep. But I guess that's too much to ask for.

The problem with this thinking is that some people can actually play hurt unlike your boy. Maybe it is a case where playing is unlikely to make it worse. It is a major and he is close to #1 so he, gasp, sucked it up and is playing without being close to 100%. He's done it many times before with less on the line than there is here.

I'm relatively new, but don't really understand what this argument is about. Federer went on record saying he pulled his lower back (a chronic injury) during the Montreal final, and therefore had to withdraw from Cincinnati--FOR INJURY. He came into the US Open clearly compromised (if one watches either/both of his matches) but decided to see how things go, play thru the injury and let the chips fall where they may. The above is factual based on actual quotes from Fed and commentators. So not sure what the dispute is about?

Finally had a chance to check the scores today and I see Cilic lost, too. To frigging Diego Schwartzman who's half his height! At the rate the seeds are falling in the bottom half - Isner at #10 is the higest seed left - Shapovalov is looking good for the semis if not the finals.

Roger really needs to get his shite together because he's probably not going to have a better opportunity to win the US Open again. When the toughest player to beat on the other side of the draw may be an 18 y.o. qualifier? Opportunity is knocking on Roger's door...Nadal's, too, for that matter and I'm sure they're both fully aware of it. IF they can make the final they're going to get a first-time Slam finalist for an opponent. And I'm sure they'd rather not have it be the 18 y.o. who's throwing everything but the kitchen sink into his matches.

As far as I can tell, John Isner is the highest seeded player left in the bottom half. What a shit show.
