Caro! That last 2nd serve was so weak. It was like Errani 1st serve, barely 70mph. you have to get that into play. Bea is a known choker and she was freezing up in that final game.
Yep Woz had her chances to break back when Bea was serving for the match, and can still around the tennis court like a 19 year old, has always been one of the fittest players in the WTA

Keli, My grandmother could serve harder or return that serve and she is OLD! I heard it was a good match although it appears to be two pushers and the Brazilian choking

Coco is too good of athlete not to be able to improve her fhand, with the right help it can be corrected, also the grip has to change
Likely true, but to me it is absolutely inexcusable that she can double fault 19 times in the course of a two hour match over three sets. That equates to giving the way almost 5 games during a match against a top 10 player. You can't do that. That serve has to be worked on constantly until she is sick of it and has total confidence in it because of how much he has worked at it. I think to serve as a bigger problem than the forehand because it sounds her of confidence and that affects her strokes during a rally.

Agree in that match it was horrid she had 60 UFE in that match, 19 of them were DFs , especially in the last game of the 3rd set, I think a lot of it is pressure she feels, she said so after the match, and in her press conference she is open to get help from a experienced person who can help with the serve, though her fhand has been a big problem for sometime now, and it is a big weakness, and players are aware of the that and attack it with ease and get UFE, to me she has to change the grip for starters, and she does need a stroke specialist to help, she is a good athlete and I believe with the proper help in that area it can get better, Gilbert has done nothing to improve it since he came on board as her coach, Coco would be paying him big money as well.Coco is young and has time on her side to correct these things in her game and she is a good athlete, a hard worker, and she is aware I feel what needs to be done in her game, noone has the 'perfect game' and players are constantly trying to improve facets of their games they need improvement in.

Navarro v Badosa match has started with Emma getting an early break in the 1st set.
Badosa making a lot of UFE.she needs to address them, maybe nerves
Emma cool as a cucumber, leads 5-2,

Emma wins the 1st set 62, Badosa making UFE on both wings and also her serve let her down in the 1st set
Lets see if she can get her game together in the 2nd set, if not Emma will cruise into the SFs, Emma totally out played Badosa in the 1st set

What a turn around for Badosa in the 2nd set, she has cut down her UFE and her serve improved
It was Emma whose game has results in UFE, pushing too hard on her ground strokes
Emma was down 1-5 but has fought back 4-5 and now Paula will try for the 2nd time to serve the 2nd set out 5-4
Badosa broken and it is now 5 all in the 2nd set, well done Emma and this has to hurt Badosa mentally can she recover now?
Badosa will serve now to force a TB for the 2nd set 5-6

Well done to Emma Navvaro down 1 - 5 in that 2nd set fought back and won the match over Badosa 62 75!
Badosa will be having nightmares she was in control of that 2nd set leading 5-1 and collapsed, mentally and her game went AWOL
Emma is in her first SF of the USO
Well Done Emma!
