is the second semi swaying back to american Jessica Pegula's way? She's lost the first set badly, but IS leading 3-2 in the second set. She's giving the crowds something to cheer about.

Oh no. Pegula has just lost her break of serve and it's 3-4 now. Still, in there with a 50 percent chance to win the set, fingers crossed AYE

Okay Keli, I know your a Hard Task Mistress:)
What do you think of Jess now, after stuck at 6 QFs and not able to take the next step in a GS to a SF she did and now has made her first GS final
Jess has been playing good HC tennis and deserves her spot in the final
I also think changing her coach was a step in the right direction, just as David Witt has been a revelation for Frances Tiafoe, Mark Knowles has also been a good fit for Jess
Well done Jess Pegula! coming back from a set down, you kept believing and for you reward a spot in your first GS final and with this win Jess is the world No 3!
Karolina Muchova after having wrist surgery earlier this year and making the SF at the USO, was a great result, I love your all court game, keep healthy!

In the other SF final match
Well done to Emma Navarro what a year you have had in GS tennis, now at No 8 in the WTA live rankings!, making your first GS SF, I loved you fight in the 2nd set, Sabalenka was just Clutch in the TB in the 2nd set!
Well done Sabalenka you have made the USO final for the 2nd consecutive year! just clutch in the TB!

BTW Since winning the USO in 2022 Swaitek hasnt made a slam SF outside of Paris
In that same span, Sabalenka has reached the last 4 in all 5 she's played
And despite all that, I would still prefer Iga's overall results if I had to choose.
