I'd say Tiafoe is the clear favorite to make it out of this quarter, having been to the semis at the US Open last year.

That was last year he made the SFs, he hasnt won a tournament on the HC this year, he has SF points to defend, upsets along the way, so far at the USO, we shall see

BTW Dominic Thiem said before he took to the court for his match against Ben Shelton he 'threw up' and felt unsettled in the match before he had to retire, also his breathing became a problem.

Muzz had a chance to break, had BPs in the 2nd set could not convert, Grigor now serving for the 2nd set, I am a bit surprised as Grigor survived a 5 set match the other day, playing well at present

Agree, from memory they have played 3 times this year, with Sinner winning.Sinner's serve was good today, I know Cahill has been working on it with him post Wimbledon, return game good as well in their match

IDK how Sonego stays in the top 100? He doesn't have much that can hurt anyone, much less an elite player! He's solid, but no real weapons!
