I don't think you have a firm grasp of what xenophobia is. It's a fear/loathing of things other/strange/foreign

I have a million things to say, but for now I will just ask these follow-up questions.

1) Does "fear/loathing of things other/strange/foreign" mean that one can never criticize foreign people? So, for example, is any criticism of a foreign society - even if factually based - automatically "xenophobic"?

2) Why must one accept your premise that foreign people are essentially perfect angels above criticism?

I see the new Chancellor of the Exchequer is a Goldman Sachs alumni. Not surprising how conspiracy theories spring up where they're concerned!

Trevor Phillips (architect of the Equality Act) kicked out of the Labour Party for being an "Islamaphobe"

Amber Rudd de-platformed and prevented from speaking at Oxford...

Welcome to 21st Century Britain.

^The left is absolutely bonkers
Totally fucked. I had a lot of respect for Trevor Phillips. Smart, pragmatic and fact-based. He did an awful lot to help break down some barriers.

Amber Rudd... I never liked her much, but a far-right Nazi? She was a Tory Whet. Hardly, Norman Tebbit.

... and yet, here we are with the Labour Party still failing to address rampant anti-semitism. I spilled my coffee with laughter when they started going after Priti Patel this week.

Huge interventions by the UK Government in Corona Virus support. Best get those money printing presses rolling... although I suspect that's what everyone else will be doing.

I don't really want to politicize this pandemic too much, but the way the EU has been behaving is little short of disgusting. The EU is a Political Government, NOT the good people of Europe.

In Italy's darkest hour, what support did the EU offer? An 8 million Euro fine for Italy having the cheek to try and support its tourism industry in Sardinia. Oh, and if they don't pay, Italy is charged thousands of Euros in interest every single day. They imposed that fine while Italy is fighting a catastrophe. It makes me so damn angry.

A couple of fascinating interviews re: Coronavirus strategy... focused on the UK, but applicable to the wider population.

Two different views:

Gove has always been a snake IMO, but I'll also argue that he's one of the most intelligent and smartest operators in UK Government.

Smooth operator.
