Man.. Sloane is just so overrated.. She will always beat herself.. She has a go for broke Fh and that is IT.. Where is tossip!:snigger
The over-rated one just pushed #4 in the world to a second set tie breaker!

The over-rated one was up 4-1 in the second set though ;)
And since she was over-rated, she lost the tie breaker.
Out goes Sloane to Cincinnati.

Sara is about to wrap up things for Alize but she still has work to do!

Ana vs. Li, now that sounds yummy!
Just started!

Antipusher, she had the tools and athletic skills needed to be a top 5-10 player. She is still young and I believe with a proper coach she could really elevate her game. She does seem to do well on the big slam stages, but loses focus during the smaller tournaments. Is that a product of her training? Can a good coach change that aspect of her nature? I'm not sure. With one victory over Serena during the AO she was crowned the "messiah" women's tennis for America. That is a lot of pressure to place on a 20 yr old.

Colleen, She will fall back to the 30-40 by the end of the year.. The tour will figure her out.. She doesn't have the mental fortitude to be consistent .. she will Never win a WTA event unless it is a perfect storm where all the top seeds fall.. Sloane plays down to the level of her competition, that's her problem. Check with Tossip, she is the Sloane expert:)

serena beat up an old and out of shape francesca.... nice.

Yes, but Old Lady Serena has skills that Franky can only painfully

sigh and wistfully contemplate over.

I would say top 20-30 so I guess I am a little more optimistic.
:puzzled
I do agree that she plays down to the level of competition but I still see some improvements from her this year, she seems to be getting better.

I'm not talking about a players skill and the game they bring to the table. I'm speaking of looks, and that I only see caucasian girls mentioned as "beauties" "innocent" "sunshine" and "bubbly."

Sloane is quite attractive, as is Heather Watson, Sania Mirza and Madison isn't "bubbly" or "innocent" looking?

Why don't you go ahead and praise some of the ones you like then.

Because, I most appreciative of their games, whether they are the most "pretty" and "innocent," or not.

its just a mirage , Sloane isn't beating anyone in the top ten and struggles with everyone 20 or lower.. Serena said it correctly , her lost made Sloane but not excuses, a win is a Win

When Sloane plays aggressively she does very well, but at times

she goes completely defensive. and that's when she gets in trouble.

Maid Marion and Madge are in a tussle

How does Mars Bars go on court with only one racquet

in her bag?

RyBar shows good sportsmanship and lends her one.

This could cause Maid the match.

Good to see Ana I putting the pieces together. Seems the booting of the coach is helping a bit, but she does need to find someone soon!

Ana is really trying to give this one away, ahead 5-3 in the decider , she served for the match, only to be broken. It is now 5-5

Can you believe Li Na made it to a 3rd set tiebreaker?!? I'm sick of both of them!!

This could cause Maid the match.

Is this for real? She had to borrow a racquet from the player across the net? How does one feel if beaten by own racquet?

Are you watching this match? it seems to be stuck according to the scoreboard, what's going on?

Marion was moving and playing well and so was RyBar. Marion

had trouble with her stick and layed it on the ground and stepped

on it to loosen the strings so the announcer said. Apparently it

broke so She informed the ref that she didn't have another one.

RyBar went to her bag and loaned Bart one of hers and the ref

said he would have to penalize Marion
