That wasn't one of the best matches of his life, and he also trashed Nadal in Cincy last year. It doesn't take a great match on grass to beat Nadal.

Wait, are you seriously saying Kyrgios' performance vs. Nadal was not one of the best of his career?

You are completely wrong, the REAL tennis followers like the good competition, exciting matches, personality (I don't want to tell you what things I hear about Roger and his "true" personality, you will be very offended) some people like more Federer, others Nadal, or Novak or Murray but the big difference is that the Roger's fans makes too much noise because their incredible fanatism and ridiculous cult, I've never seen something like that, those horrible wishes to his rival, it's out of normal
But all those things are not going to change the past neither the future, whatever happens is in their game and not our wishes, tt make me to smile guys

And let me guess, Rafa's true personality is great.

3 tiebreaks is trashing. Good to know.
Well, for you who ever beats your idol it's because this one has made too many errors like in Wimbledon 2018......let me laugh. Oh wait, I forgot about the famous "mono"

Not always but yes usually Federer is littering the court with errors when he loses. 2008 being one of the worst, I bet 52 UE's is one of the highest totals in Wimbledon history.

Remember that the rival had a lot to do with the FORCED errors too

Probably not but we are talking a huge underachiever thus far so maybe. It was his biggest win.

Dude, he played out of this world that day. Nadal didn't even play poorly (unlike against Rosol and especially, Darcis), he was just taken to the cleaners.

It seems like everyone plays out of this world against Rafa when the grass is at least somewhat low bouncing. He's just not difficult to play in those conditions.

The Sampras fans/Roger haters that latched on have stayed the course and now it's all they know. AP, Kieran, Graf Sampras fan, etc. They'd have rooted for anyone.
A) That's a sampling of 3 Nadal fans amongst millions; B) I don't even know who Graf Sampras fan is, and C) I can't swear to A-P, but I know Kieran to be a real big Nadal fan, even though for sure he started as a anti-Fed Sampras fan. Like it or not, there are plenty of people who find Nadal's game and his charisma to be thrilling. There is nothing especially "more" natural about Federer fans. You're being as much of a fantasist as monfed when it comes to some of this stuff.

At this point you're verging on trolling. Just admit you remember nothing about the match (the same way you claimed the Davis Cup 2011 final against Del Potro was not a tough match when I'd bet significant money you've never seen it because, why would you?) and you're just going by the narrative you want to push.

A-P and Kieran were definitely Sampras fans who became Nadal fans by necessity. Of course over time they genuinely liked Nadal and all, not disputing anyone's allegiances, but unlike say, huntingyou, the reason they were Nadal fans in the first place is pretty obvious.

I know that...I thought it was implied. Sorry, I meant that I can't swear, from personal knowledge, that A-P is a true Nadal fan, though I'd say he is. And Kieran I know was and is a huge Sampras man, but also a huge Nadal fan, now and long-time. We all know the phenomenon. Same with Federer fans who opportunitistically decided that they liked Djokovic more than they ever had, or Roger had, when he started beating Rafa. I'm just saying that it serves Darth's agenda to say that that, and women who admire the physique pretty much explains his entire fan base, whereas Federer fans admire beautiful tennis. Simplistic, fantastical theory, as well as out-dated.

Yes I didn't see the Davis Cup match but I was responding to Mrzz or someone else who made it sound like a titanic struggle when it didn't even go 5 sets and only had one TB. I didn't say it was easy but obviously it wasn't a major struggle either.

Roger looked good in 2014, it took Djoker on nearly a career day to win that match. Just look at the stats for that one, it was a crazy clean match and Fed served 69% with 29 aces and still lost. The biggest threat to Roger winning here would be if Djoker is fully back and could produce a similar performance.

Feds returning in that match was atrocious. He was playing as if he was facing Karlovic. No plan B just get as many aces and unreturnables as possible.

That match should've ended in 4 sets if faker hadnt choked in the 4th.

My point is at no point in the match did Fed look like winning it. He played like a coward and paid the price.

Fed's ROS was atrocious from 2008-2016, which explained a big part of his mediocre results, especially after AO 2010. So yes, his ROS that match was atrocious just like 2008 Wimbledon, but Roger did a lot of things really well that day. For his 2014 standards he played well and would've beat the average Djokovic but Nole was lights out aside from the end of the 4th set. Fed won the first set and had momentum heading into the 5th. I thought he was going to win.

yes it's annoying how faker always peaks for Fed. In Wimbledon 14, faker's form in that entire tournament was at level 5 but in the final it was at level 10. It's disgusting how all these players peak for Fed like clockwork but against other players they're playing like mugs.

Yeah that tourney was annoying because Djokovic had been performing really bad in alot of big matches for over a year heading into that final. I think winning that is what really set him up for the big 2015.
