A great guilty pleasure on Netflix, Empresses in the Palace, a Chinese production with subtitles about life in the emperor's harem. It's melodramatic and beautiful, costumes are incredible, the intrigues and shadow-play are enormous. Really beautiful show...

I started watching it last year and was on board from the beginning. It's only gotten better.

Began season 4 of Homeland last night, we kinda left it after season 3, but Tented and Darth both gave the fourth season a much better review, so we're gonna play catch-up, because season 5 has already begun on television...

After six episodes of a hohum "Fear the Walking Dead", the main show has begun. If you watched the season six premier, you will never see that many walkers again. Ever.

Also, I'm in love with Carol. She scares the crap out of me and it's really turning me on. I'm more twisted than I thought.

Okay, so I've watched four episodes of Homeland, series 4, and I'm rooting for the bad guys to snatch that cheap-haired bully ratfaced b1tch Carrie and dispatch her deceitful, lying two-faced child abandoning a$$ to the lowest circle of television hell.

But it's also a lot better than series 2 and 3...

I'm really enjoying Season 5 of Homeland. It's through 5 episodes and while there has not been much explosive action yet, they've built the plot well and I'm very intrigued to see how it's going to play out.

I agree. It's their best season since the first. It feels like a well-written John LeCarre spy novel, yet it's also fresh and topical. They have a lot going on, with several new characters, which also helps.

Yeah, it's building up nicely. Spoiler question, highlight the next part to see what it is: who was following Quinn? Islamic agents? Did Carrie's BF sell him out?
