^ I was wondering the same thing as I have no idea. There are a lot of ethnic groups involved this season, part of what makes it great, and I couldn't tell which one that guy is. Not German but the rest I couldn't rule out... Don't think I'm spoiling anything for those who haven't watched it.

That's it. Moving the series to Berlin and bringing the Russians into it is almost making me feel nostalgic...

^ Russians always add some good spice to everything. The shows mirror reality...no one wants to fu*k with them.

I just hope that the bloke who's following Quinn isn't (highlight the spoiler bit next) going to lead to a rehash of series one, this time Quinn gets captured, indoctrinated, fed back to the CIA, etc... :nono

Yeah, it's building up nicely. Spoiler question, highlight the next part to see what it is: who was following Quinn? Islamic agents? Did Carrie's BF sell him out?

Well, "Spoiler Alert' whenever Saul has a  interest, you know it's not legitimate:laydownlaughing

I've been binge-watching Rome again, haven't seen it since it aired. Brilliant, funny, tragic, sexy and violent show, one of the best ever. No matter how many times I watch it, or read about the actual event, I can't help but feel that the assassination of Julius Caesar was a terrible crime and mistake, a huge dagger-shaped hole in history. Ciaran Hinds is imperious and intimidating as the dictator, and the show has an excellent cast.

Until recently, I didn't know that Lucius Vorenus and Titus Pullo, the main characters, were real Romans, with a cameo in Caesar's own commentary on his campaigns in Gaul...

I had no clue either that those were real people. It was an amazing show and one I still rewatch every once in awhile.

Yeah, I was amazed, and in the show, they actually are like that passage from the book. The bloke who played Mark Anthony was magnificent, too...

Yes Antony was great and that also was quite a revelation to me as I didn't realize how bizarre/messed up the guy was. The actor is James Purefoy, he seems to play a twisted character in many of his roles and does it well.

To recommend most shows, I'd tell somebody they have to watch at least two or three episodes to get into it. With Rome , I tell them, if you don't love it after 30 minutes, you won't love it at all. It's that perfect, and immediate, and the start has everything. Including Polly Walker taking a bath. That usually gets 'em watching... :popcorn

Anybody here watch The Man in the High Castle? Just watched the third episode, it's based upon a novel by Phillip K dick, it has Ridley Scott producing and some old X-Files writer. So far, so excellent...

Yeah, I watched four episodes too. I like everything about this show, the look, the mood, the cast. Great story. I never read the book, and now I don't have to! :)

I'm about to watch it. I like Miranda Otto in that role, she's devious and plausible and thoroughly dangerous, actually. Bit cute, too...

I just finished it. Miranda Otto went up even more in my estimation. Alison is a great character and it was pure class, traditional spy story stuff, made believable by a great cast...

Mirando Otto really have some MILF qualities.. she rose in statue with me as well.. Very well said about the traditional spy stuff.. I think this was one of the better episodes.. As for a loverboy Saul, maybe one day they will give him a loyal lover:basiate

Miranda Otto has been spectacular all through this season of Homeland. We're on a cliffs edge waiting for the final episode. What a great season so far, eh? :popcorn

It has been a really good season and unlike last year I'd expect a lot of fireworks in the finale. There's a lot to be settled.

Hey Darth, did you finish The Man in the High Castle? If so, what did you think of it?
