Time to admit that I was wrong in regards to Homeland. It has turned out to be great and there figures to be more fireworks before it's all said and done. After a disappointing end to season 2, a beyond stupid season 3, and a slow beginning to this season I had all but given up on it.

One word:

Mrs Brody? :please:

Not a glimpse of her sadly but I think it's worth watching. Call it a slight redemption this season.

I'll have to catch it on Netflix, it's almost ended here now and I haven't seen a single scene. I'm surprised you persevered but I'm glad the news is good about it...

^ It wasn't easy to stick with it lol, especially with Sunday Night Football on at the same time. I was a boring episode or 2 away from saying 'screw it'

Anybody here ever watch the BBC show, Silk? Got hooked and watched all 18 episodes in a binge, recently. As fine a courtroom drama as I've ever seen, made better by the fact that the creator of the show worked as a barrister in London, so he gets all the background stuff spot on, according a reviews of the show by a barrister.

Great cast, excellent stories...

You see? AP and I were right. It's essentially a whole new show this season, which just happens to have a few of the same lead characters/actors. The season did begin too slowly, but the last few episodes have been incredible. Arguably their best ever. But I'll stop here, and avoid spoilers.

No, the whole Brody family and friends storyline is history. This isn't really a spoiler, but 95% of the current season takes place in the Middle East.

Ugh ... just when I thought Homeland was truly taking off again, the season finale was horrible. I won't give away spoilers -- not that there are many to give away, considering almost nothing happened -- but if any of you saw it, what did you think?

It was beyond Horrible...Spoilers.. there wasnt anything worth mentioning.. Now I am starting to think that season 3 was better because of the way this season unfolded.. Heck, the way it ending I felt as though it was the Winter finale instead of the season finale.. :nono

Yeah it was incredibly boring. I get that they are trying to set up next year a bit but I think they could have gone about it in a more exciting way. MINOR SPOILER BELOW:

All of a sudden Quinn is back home out of the blue which ended what figured to be an exciting conclusion to what had built up the last few weeks.

I'd guess that next season will still revolve around Pakistan somehow, otherwise what they did in this past finale is even more stupid. Despite the boring finale I don't think it ruined the season and I do look forward to the 5th season a lot more than I looked forward to season 4 after what happened in season 3.

Saw the first 7 episodes the last couple nights. Pretty slow at first but it's really built up with every episode. Good show and I'm excited to see the last 3 episodes.

Yeah, it starts slowly but not dragging, then builds up. Great cast, good twists. You won't be disappointed by the last 3 eps...

Yeah, it's fairly epic, isn't it? Brilliant characters, especially the great Khan. Sexy broads, and explosive fight scenes. Theme tune and opening credits were fairly beautiful too. A great show, and now the down part of Netflix innovation of releasing all the episodes at once: it's 12 months until we get the next batch...

Question to GOT watchers who have also read the books: I have finished two books, how many episodes can I watch before it gets to the third book? I like reading first.

You can watch the first 2 seasons. And after reading book 3 you can watch seasons 3 and 4 though season 4 does have some of book 4 plots I think

It's a shame she was only with the Doctor for one season. I liked her, too. Much better than Rose.
