Kyle Edmund so far will drop 11 places to number 25 but this is subject to change and it could be further.

the arrogant old Swiss n°6 ? incredible
Even more incredible that n°42 - Dusan Lajovic - is 1 y older (thus presumably more arrogant?) than "old Swiss n°6".
Of course by herios' mistake but perhaps you notice it more than others do, given your attitude. Do you know what "ageism" means?

My typo indeed regarding Lajovics' age.

Roger is arrogant. So who is not arrogant?

Been saying it for years; ya gotta be some kind of A-hole to get to the top! Nice guys do finish last! The "elite" guard an image, but we all have seen and heard the self-entitlement, arrogance, and ill-treatment of others around them! I've even heard Fed go the 'do you know who I am?' card on an umpire! As gentle as Rafa seems to come off to the masses, there have been dramatic scenes of him at odds with an opponent or official! Nole's always worn his heart on his sleeve so 2017 was his punishment! I still haven't seen the Borg movie not needing to see the demons he must have dealt with trying to retain that mystique of invincibility! You'd be hard-pressed to hear anything disparaging about Edberg! He might have been the only saint who made it without being a boor!

Funny, Kei's the only one in the top 100 to lose points from last season; 10 whole points! Players are still moving up or down in the rankings outside the top 50!  :banghead:   :ptennis:

NextGen keeps creeping up. I wonder when the last time we had two 19-year olds in the top 30; Andy and Novak? Maybe Cilic and del Potro?

You misunderstood his post. He was talking about "current week" in "live ranking" which will become official next week.
Although he did not look carefully enough, Kei is not the only one losing points this week.

Nah, don't think I did tbh. He wasn't talking about this week only. He just got it completely wrong. Lots of players lost points and Federer and Edmund lost a ton as I mentioned.

I think you are wrong. He mentions that Kei is losing 10 points, and that is exactly how much Kei will drop next week. After AO, Kei gained points and that is not what he referred to.

You are right. Delpo and Cilic were the last two teenagers inside the top 30 at the same time.
Delpo was ranked 10-20, when he turned 20, and Marin was ranked 20-30.

Thanks! There's always someone trying to make out IDK WTF I'm talking about! They just wind up looking foolish if I do say so myself!

One wonders, if he had been a bigger jerk, he might have been up there with the all time greats.

Funny thing is, Lendl said Edberg was nothing like his public persona and said he had the sickest sense of humour.

Edberg. He had a sick sense of humour just like me. You know what they say about quiet water always making trouble? That’s Stefan.
