I think that's it for the ATP and Challenger tour, so probably no changes in the top 100. But there are a bunch of Futures coming up, so some micro-changes possible outside the top 100.

You are correct. Only futures are disputed now with no player in the top 200.
I will come back with some statistical analysis related to the rankings of the players, during the break.

Another Russian, Andrey Rublev, should soon join them on the rise. He's about a year and a half younger than both Khachanov and Medvedev.

Meanwhile Taylor Fritz has dropped to #91...he's been stagnant at best for seven or eight months now. I hope he can start rising again.

With Novak going out of AO he has 9825 ranking points.
Andy has 11450 atm what could go upto 13360 if he was to win AO.

Weeks @ Number 1 Murray will pass Becker & Roddick & it looks like a very good chance he will pass Mats Wilander,Unless Nole adds some extra events.

Doubt Wilander will lose too much sleep considering he won 7 slams and had an amazing 3 slam year in 1988.

Here's a crazy thought. If Roger loses to Berdy, not only will he be ranked in the 30s, but he'll be behind...Albert Ramos Vinolas.

Ramos at least has a win over Fed. So, may not be all that bad. :lolz:

p.s. I don't expect Fed to lose today.

TMF now ranked #14. If he wins the final, he will be ranked #10. Of course, if he wins the final no one would care what is his ranking. :)

Indeed. No matter what happens on Sunday, he's surely certain to enter the remaining GS as a top 12 seed, which means he'll avoid the top 4 seeds before the QF. (Everything in this post is to be understood with the caveat: barring injury.)

Questions that it will be interesting to watch over the season:

1) Where will Fed be at the end of the year? Surely in the top 8, and almost surely not in the top 2. The main question is whether he can make it back to the top 4 - based on the AO, I'd say he's got a shot.

2) Could Roger get a top 4 seeding for 2017 Wimbledon? He will get extra points for his SF and previous year's final, as well as the grass-court points from last season. The trouble is, Murray and Djokovic will be almost certainly be out of reach, and Raonic will have the final points from last year for the seeding formula. Nadal will surely be making a push towards the top 4. At this point, I'd say it's possible if Fed wins the AO, but unlikely otherwise.
