It's Monday - start of a new week - let's get the party going - Sweedish 50ties Rock'N'Roll with the High-Jacks
First one from 2008
And that party I would've been trilled take part in 2017
So of to work then - have a nice Monday
I came upon this rendition of Sunshine on Leith. If you don't know this piece and Reid bros, maybe read about them first and listen to said entire album to become familiar & get into the proper mood. Then listen to this:
Amazing how Scott (cricket?) fans can create an unforgettable atmosphere... An epic show for all sport fans of any kind. I wish tennis (esp Federer) fan be able to do such...

I'm very sorry to disappoint you but I prefer this version of the song. The song you shared is still good though.
I thought that was Celtic's football kit. Glaswegians are very friendly but Celtic fans don't get on with Glasgow Rangers fans very well.
Other information about Scotland. Although it is Glaswegians that are singing the song on the clip you shared Leith is near Edinburgh & people from Edinburgh normally have a disagreement about whether Edinburgh should be the capital city or whether it should be Glasgow. Glaswegians argue that as capital cities are normally either the largest city in a country or the most central city in that country, Glasgow has more right to be Scotland's capital as it's the largest city in Scotland. If they chose the most central city in Scotland it would be either Inverness or Perth.
You're welcome. I agree. I'm genealogically mostly Scots/Irish & love Scots/Irish music & sing their songs. I've also loved certain Scottish stories all my life. I'm into Scottish history. I love Scots/Irish poems. I also love some Scottish food & drink as well as the place itself. Thanks for this and for addit info. No disappointment for me so no need to be sorry. I just thought sport fans (nominally the bloggers here should be such) would appreciate the message from stadium seats. I'm not like those fans who sang it, needless to say my culture has nothing to do with Scottish culture (except I love mountains and ca be nostalgic on their subject), so I'm not emotionally engaged.
So Celtics attract the support of the catholic sectarians while Rangers the protestants, although the divisions might be more complex, beyond my understanding. Yet there is nothing sectarian in the song (performed by Celtics here), it's actually very much uniting, with soothing message. It's strange that the song has been used in ages old sectarian battle, and Leith has nothing to do with sectarianism in Glasgow. It appears the fans have just picked a popular song as their hymn because it "sounds good" (most likely Scotts know it by heart) not giving much thought how adequate it is to the situation. But it is interesting how emotional & how united they are and how good job they've done performing it.
Too many icecreams during the summer - here is a way to get rid of them again
