We had a Summer/holiday related theme going on earlier in the year. How about a day trip related medley? Unfortunately the only 3 songs are linked by the fact that they were all sung by the same band so there are 2 links between these songs rather than just the 1. They're good though. Enjoy!

They’re great songs, too. I love all Roxy Music. They were never popular in the US, until the Avalon album — and then they broke up.

It can be hard to choose when it comes to your favourites & you don't want to overwhelm everyone. I'm the same with Celine Dion.

I stayed over at my Sister's yesterday & we watched this film, .

I enjoyed it but when this was sung,

I thought this song

was going to be sung next but it didn't feature.

I found a couple of parts sad. I know I should really put this in the film section but I don't know whether everyone who wanted to see it saw it & I know that people here don't like being told the story behind films before seeing them & I felt

not to give the game away.

Just a little flashback to LUV - Dutch girl group from 1979 who had their 40th anniversary i January and yes they are still performing in selected events - still 2 of the original members in the group - here a hit medley from 1993 - I guess you know a couple of the numbers:

I do know a couple of the songs & like them. I really enjoyed listening & noticed my favourite instrument was played. Thank you very much for sharing. (Did you know that at 1 time bagpipes were played in all of the U.K. but only Scotland, Ireland & Cumberland kept up with playing them?)
