I love this performance. It’s a favorite of mine and our friend @Kieran.
I love it too. I'm glad you like it. I never got a chance to learn an instrument at school as I always passed voice test so had to sing in music & join choir. When I told Dad I wanted to learn an instrument later on he got me a bugle, harmonica, tambourine, accordion, bagpipes & a guitar. I had most luck with the tambourine so this song calls to me. The 1st song I learnt to play is "The Northern lights of Old Aberdeen". I got as far as scales on harmonica. I sound like a dying cow on bagpipes unfortunately. I sounded good on accordion & guitar when improvising. Following the instructions I didn't sound too good. I'd love to get to know him. I've heard so much about him.

A song that was all the rage when I was moving from Middle to High school. Everyone loved it & was doing it. I just sung it.

I'm not going to share Bay City Rollers Saturday Night as I've already done so a couple of times but I will share the main song from 1 of my favourite musicals, "Saturday Night fever".

Whigfield - Danish singer - nice. Kinks my favorites when I attended boarding school - they made some fantastic songs like Lola.
We had a theme about summer and here is the new summer tune by Little Mix called Bounce Back - and that's what they do to barbieworld 90ties in a fun club banger

Now bounce back to James Blunt who made a beautifull tune Stay the night 10 years ago

And another bounce back with Huecco and Caroline Wozniacki and other sportsfolks where he try to collect money to get light

For all nuki fans - the ultimate song

A completely other theme teenage film music - here is a very beautifull tune from my favorite John Huges film in the eighties - can you guess the film?

Last used to close the second part of a Handmaids Tale

Second film tune is very well known but do you know it from this tune? Roxette perform it years later so it's not too easy ;)

I didn't know Whigfield was Danish. I liked Lola.

I remember. I answered to it at a time other than Sunday afternoon & thought of the song I just shared but thought the words went "lazing on a Sunday afternoon in Summer-time" but they didn't. They went "lazing on a sunny afternoon in Summer-time. Thank you very much for the music. I'll listen later. I've got a couple more Summer-related songs, well holiday-related anyway & people usually go on holiday in Summer-time.

I've no idea. I never really watched much T.V. as a teenager. I was too busy with books & homework in my early-mid teens & books, work & going out in my late teens. The only teen movie I've really seen is Grease. In fact, 1 of my Manager's didn't believe it when in my late teens I said I didn't know what Britney Spears was talking about when in "Oops! I did it again." she said "I thought the old lady dropped it in the ocean in the end." She said I had to watch Titanic. I've seen it many times since then & love it. (My heart will go on came out when I was in my mid-teens. I think it's absolutely fantastic. It's 1 of my favourite songs & I always win karaoke with it. I even get asked to do it at karaoke.).

Thank you very much. I'll try to get hold of it to watch it.

I love the song "Pretty Woman" but have never seen the film though it's 1 of my Sister's favourites. ;0) We can't just talk about pretty woman without sharing it.

Since I mentioned "Oops! I did it again" & "My heart will go on" it's only fair that I share.

Back to the Summer theme I forgot to share these 1st time round.

I'll add this 1 though I was more of a Kylie fan than a Madonna fan & in the 80's most people were either a Kylie fan or a Madonna fan.

I loved the music shared on the teenage film theme. I remembered I did watch a couple of other teenage films, American graffiti & the 1 this song came from.

Onto American graffiti.

Now onto some Grease songs I've never shared before.

Talking about teenage films, how could I forget that I also watched footloose?

Since I shared English music for St. George's Day, Scottish music for St. Andrew's Day & songs wrote by Robert Burns for Burns Night, Welsh music for St. David's Day, Irish music for St. Patrick's Day & Australian music for Australia Day I thought it was only fair to share Canadian music for Canada Day.

Now as there are parts of Canada that speak French as well as parts that speak English & there are some French Canadian songs sung by a famous French Canadian singer I can think of & like & I know French & know other people do too, I'm going to share some of Celine Dion's French songs followed by her English songs.

Now for some of Celine Dion's English songs.
